Might be biased but I absolutely love this place. I’ve been to many different Pancheros and this one just always seems to hit the spot. The place itself is a little dry but I guess we have to be the ones to entertain ourselves sometimes or else you might just be boring. 9.7/10 definitely recommend!!

Visited at the end of October 2023. Was dirty compared to other locations the food tasted “off”. Ended up getting incredibly ill here from eating three hours after my visit. I ended up being sick for two weeks. Reached out to Pancheros to give them the heads up and there was radio silence once I indicated I had become ill.In short, AVOID this location, a far cry from the standards set by the original in Iowa City.

Made a preorder takeout 3 hour before hand and get it home that's 1hour away and everything was completely wrong-for basically being a chain restaurant how does the food taste different every time?-I emailed there corporation to see what happens-if they compensate the 50 bucks in food I just threw away-not steak and a whole lot of rice
Great food but I don't understand why they charge extra for extra rice when I don't get beans. Rice is literally dirt cheap, I simply won't eat beans and don't want a tiny burrito. I'll go back but it is very frustrating.

Please drain the beans! Ive been eating there for 10 years but the last year or two the borrito bowl has been bean soup. Even if i ask you to drain the beans extra you are in to big of a hurry to care about it.No soup for me...

Went to the Waukee Pancheros and they were out of dough for tortillas; came to this location and it was amazing! Everything was fresh and hot, portions were great, and staff was clearly well trained. Honestly, better than every burrito i've had at the waukee location. Worth the drive and will be coming back

This particular Pancheros is very well managed. I always get a burrito and the lunch group does a great job managing all the ingredients into the tortilla without a rupture. Also, the employees always look like they're having a good time or at least making the best of their work day.
