Some of the best lasagna ive ever had and it was for my fiancée lol. Great place and its convenient for us truckers sense its next to pilot. Want a big fan of what I ordered the bracciole just cause I WASNT familiar with what I ordered. At any rate, the restaurant was nice, the people were nice and the lasagna and salad and cheesecake was to die for. Yall can find them on truckerpath too!? Good meal. Very good red sauce.Of all things, my husband and I both mentioned later that we wished they would have served bread. Also for the prices, cracked pepper and fresh parmesan (instead of old pre-grated) would have been nice touches to elevate the experience.

We took a large group of kiddos here for Homecoming and the staff and food were fantastic! I cannot say enough how patient and kind they all were. Pizza was fantastic and we'll likely order that again. Thanks again for making this group of kiddos nights! They were all saying it was the most fun they've ever had at a dinner!

I stopped in here for lunch last week. They just opened back up for lunch hours! I didn’t want anything big, so I ordered the meatballs. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they were HOMEMADE! They were so flavorful & juicy, not dried out. Also found out that the owner was the one serving the entire dining room - & she was also the one to roll those meatballs! I can imagine dinner here would be so worth it! Eat local, folks! ?

Excellent Italian that doesn’t require a trip to the south side. It’s one of our regular rotation now; everything we’ve had there has been excellent.

So on a Friday night around 9 pm my wife and I decided to visit this restaurant which is close to our house. The bar and restaurant area lights were on full brightness giving the area a sterile/cafeteria feel. No ambience. There was a few dinner tables in the bar area where table tops should've been so my wife and I decided to sit up at the bar. The bartender was very kind and knowledgeable about her drinks and what was on tap. We decided to order two appetizers which are pictured here. The appetizers were a bit skimpy but otherwise looked very tasty! Much to my disappointment they were bland and had no taste. The fried calamari was a bit chewy which let me know that it wasn't very fresh. Adding a bit of salt helped tremendously. The Appetizers were a bit pricey and the beer and drinks were at an average price rate. There were only two other couples in the restaurant/bar and we felt a bit rushed once they left and as the bartender and restaurant staff started closing the areas up. The bartender did reassure us that we could take our time with our appetizers and drinks. So, I would suggest a bit more spices on your appetizers and create an ambience in the bar area simply by reducing the lighting to create a more cozy feel. We will go back again simply because the bartender was kind and the drinks were at regular pricing but we might skip the appetizers.

Ordered chicken parmesan and the chicken was so tough I couldn't cut it. They made me another one and it was slightly better since I could cut it but still overcooked and overall just not great. They also didn't offer to discount my bill for the trouble. Many better Italian restaurants in the metro with more reasonable prices. I won't be back.

Tonite was my first visit to Santino's and I am so happy we went. The interior is warm and inviting. I really appreciated there was plenty of room between tables so seating was comfortable and conversation relaxing. Our server was top notch....very friendly and attentive but not hovering. We had the spaghetti and meatballs which included a good salad and bread. Food was very good and portions generous. Good menu variety for those who may not want pasta. I am anxious to go back and taste other menu items.

The food is always so good. Spaghettini and meatballs night on Wednesdays is the perfect way to escape that weekly cooking routine. The bar drinks are yummy. The new ice cream drinks are amazing!!

The food continues to be good. The reason for four stars is the service. We were placed in a side room by ourselves. Granted, we liked the privacy but it seemed a waste of steps for the waiter. If the restaurant is not full, close the section off and sit people in a more efficient manner. The restaurant location continues to employ a rude waiter. Even though we're long time customers of Mama Lacona's, she continues to ignore us. Instead, greet us as loyal customers and welcome us back. Her demeanor alone gives us pause to come back.
