“As everyone points out, the serving sizes are HUGE! A small could easily be split between 2 adults. You will get a lot of ice cream for your money. I used to go here 20+ years ago when I was kid and don't remember getting so much ice cream! :DMy only complaint is since it has been so long since going here, I had no idea it was cash only and I feel they REALLY need a card machine. It would make everything so much smoother and easier. We were one of the people that had to go to the Ventura Mart looking for an ATM but it was out of order and Ventura Mart won't let you do cash back on purchases for the sole reason that people come from the Viking looking for cash and would wipe them out. Totally understandable. We were able to get cash but everyone may not be lucky when trying to do this.”

“My wife and I drove two hours to experience Cafe Mir. It is a gem hidden in a small, but charming, town. The atmosphere was excellent, as was the staff. We enjoyed an incredible dinner, with their organic approach and creative combinations. The Heirloom tomato salad was our favorite; made from fresh local grown ingredients. The lamb sausage pizza was a close second. We enjoyed the duck confit that was prepared perfectly. The portions were large enough to be shared by the two of us. We will most definitely be making the drive again!”

“We ordered breakfast croissant sandwiches, and they were excellent. I ordered a mocha with an extra shot of espresso, and it was SO sweet. It tasted like chocolate milk. I couldn't finish it. Otherwise, friendly service and a nice big area for dining.”

“Had a great night singing Karaoke with friends and family. Awesome time with a great crowd. The food was amazing, as usual, service was the best and I love the wi- fi Karaoke and cordless microphones. The ability to sing a much wider variety of songs rocked. The atmosphere was encouraging and inclusive. I give it a 4.8 on a 5 point scale. Ask anyone, I'm not easy to please.”

“This has all the good places to eat McDonald’s Culver’s arbys Wendy’s great for a trip they are all in a square so accessible and great for when your on a long trip and everyone wants to eat something, no matter where you eat you can go to Culver’s for custard afterwards”

“WE She hade a non-fat latte and I had a mocha, they were both very good. I normally order half sweet from most coffee shops, I took a chance and didn't this time. I was pleasantly surprised when the drink was so good and not overly sweet. The prices were a little higher than I expected however I do appreciate the challenge of remaining profitable in todays economy. Service was top notch!”

“I always feel like Subway in general is a bit of a crapshoot when it comes to how fresh the ingredients really are. For example, I’d say half the time you get old crusty bread and the other half of the time, it’s soft, fresh, and delightful.I moved here to Clear Lake a couple months ago and have been to this location a few times since then. Each time I’ve gone, the sandwiches have been fantastic. Fresh bread, fresh meat and veggies, special instructions followed perfectly. The employees are great, friendly, and for my last online pickup order, they included some fun doodles and smiley faces on the stickers that seal the sandwich wrappers.The franchise owner, manager, and employees here are doing something right and I have to give props where props are deserved.”
