A fun place to go and see a live band. The dance floor is a bit cramped due to a pool table (I’m sure it makes money when the bands aren’t there). Bartenders are usually fast and friendly. The men's bathroom is pretty gross, but can be interesting if you don’t mind the ladies watching you from the hallway while you go. There is no privacy at all when the door is opened any women waiting in the hall to go to their bathroom are standing right there.
I dropped by Kenny's Garage after a friend asked me to meet there to watch one of the superior groups play their music on Friday the 27th of Jan. 2023. The group was excellent and enjoyed by a nearly full house of devotees of good music. Kenny's also has a nice dance floor and an excellent staff of bartenders and servers who provided a wide range of soft drinks, juices, beers and cocktails for you to choose from. Fun dive bar deep into Waukee. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays, a few TVs to catch a game, darts, pool and cheap drinks. It gets really busy but the staff does a great job trying to keep the drinks flowing! They do fun events like psychics, bingo and other things every once and awhile as well. Highly recommend.
