Classic takeout experience! Got tofu and vegetables, came with fried rice, soup and a choice of egg roll of crab Rangoon which is a great deal. Very friendly on the phone and at the counter. Pickup was so quick and everything was hot and flavorful! The restaurant was cute and spacious, I can't imagine why it was empty besides the sign being off -- we had a hard time finding it without the GPS. I read another review complaining that the edges of the Rangoon were tough and I do agree but the flavor was really good and I think if I had them in the restaurant they'd be amazing.

felt very welcomed walking in! Came down from texas and would highly recommend getting the empress chicken and the vegetable tofu. Each plate came with a soup and rice of your choice. It's very filling and everything was fried nicely! The empress chicken was fried in a light batter. The sauce for each plate really pulled the flavors together. Everything came out fresh! Would def bring family and friends back to try out more dishes

Food is full of flavor! There were no issues getting in and being sat at a table. Nice quiet place for people with sensitivity to sound to enjoy a great meal! Service was great even though there was only 1 lady hosting, serving, and handling take out orders, but she did an amazing job!

Sorry to leave a bad review!! Ordered beef lo mien and crab rangoon. The rangoon was so tough I couldn't eat it and the lo mien was super bland and my veggies were not cooked. Service was not bad just the food.

Late lunch on a Sunday. Food was fresh and hot. Kids loved their orange chicken and chicken lo mein. Hot and sour soup needed some salt and soy sauce. My kung pao chicken was decent. Only canned pop. Place is a bit dated. But, certainly worth the visit.

China jade the best Chinese food place in the West Des Moines area. The lunch specials have great pricing (under $10) and you get an entree, soup and egg roll/crab rangoon. Flavor is great and pick up ordering is really quick. This is easily my first choice when I want Chinese food.

Hunan beef wasn't very good, the pieces of meat and onions were poorly prepped and too large to eat in a bite but impossible to cut with the cheap fork, plus the beef seemed undercooked. Stellar service and great lunch special prices though.
I had family in from out of town and we trusted the reviews and 4 star rating to my embarrassment. There were 5 of us and the food was bland and cheap at best. Two meals were virtually inedible. The server was sullen and unfriendly from the moment we walked in. We ordered extra egg rolls and those and all the egg rolls with our orders were burned. The "casual atmosphere" should say "unclean atmosphere". The walls are greasy and the restrooms filthy. My Brother-in-law drank half a glass of water before he realized there was a stain ring of tea or soda left in the glass from improper or no washing. The fried rice lacked vegetables and just tasted like greasy rice. We will never go back.

The service was poor. Got my order wrong. The fried rice was greasy and no vegetables in it. Chicken was chewy and egg rolls over fried. Bathroom not clean.
