Tacos were decent. The guacamole and salsa verde were garbage. The drinks were ok, nothing special.

My boyfriend and I got the 2 tacos with rice and beans. The rice tasted like it was made from a box. The bean were unseasonably. The nopale taco I had was enjoyable, the Carne asada was not well seasoned. My boyfriend enjoyed his mushroom taco and pork taco. We also ordered Guacamole, no seasoning in that either. The drinks were not very good either. Left disappointed, the service and atmosphere was cool, but won't return.

We tried this for the first and last time a few weeks ago. It just wasn't for us, with so many other options for Mexican cuisine, this doesn't make it on our list of faves. Chips & salsa are not complimentary. Strike one. the salsa was green. Not what we were expecting, but we tried it. Stopped after dipping the first chip. Strike two. Husbands entree was made with the same salsa. He could not eat it. Strike three.

I've eaten in the restaurant a few times and have always loved the food, drinks, and atmosphere. The wall of hot sauce is killer! We decided to have El Guapo's cater our work holiday lunch. It was a great decision! The food was amazing and the little additional touches went above and beyond. From the trays for chips, to the crockpot full of cheese, and even custom table coverings, lunch was really special! Highly recommend!

My company has certain things we celebrate at work, such as work anniversaries, momentous occasions or welcoming a new employee to the company. Every. Single. Time. I get to choose where we cater or where we go, it's El Guapo. So much so that they don't even ask me anymore, they just know. The adobo beef is the best I've ever had. I can't say enough about how good their food is. When I get to have a margarita, the hellfire marg is the best and spiciest in town. Locally owned and operated(Chase is awesome), great food, great atmosphere. If I could give 10 stars I would.
More focus is placed on the aesthetic opposed to the food, drink and service. Overpriced and underwhelming in the general experience, I would not personally recommend.

Service was really good especially considering they just switched to a new POS system. Food is decent but portion sizes are very small for the price. A quesadilla with tots is $12 but the quesadilla is made with really small tortillas so not worth the price at all. Drinks are just okay and also come in small glasses for the price.

We hired El Guapos to cater our wedding of about 150-160 people and they did AMAZING! People are still messaging me asking who served our food because they were so impressed and we got so many compliments on their food and service. We did buffet style and they made it a super easy process by asking us the right questions, helping us pick our menu, and so much more. Tacos were a hit and catered to a wide variety of guests - vegans, vegetarians, gluten free folks, people with allergies and of course people who eat it all! We served the chicken and Chile verde and people won’t stop talking about the street corn. ? they set up well, tore down well and cleaned up well. Came early to set up and knew exactly what they were doing. They even gave us an El Guapos ceramic skull as a wedding gift which we now have on display in our home as memorabilia. ❤️ they were also super reasonably priced! Since we live pretty close to them this is now our forever date night to commemorate our wedding and the vibe in their restaurant is so welcoming and cute and they even have a whole hot sauce wall!Be sure to hire them for your next big catering event, you won’t regret it.
