At Jordan Creek mall today and got a little hungry, stopped at Hummus Mediterranean Grill and got some food to share. Everything was SO good and the man working in the front (forgot to ask for his name) was SO nice! We got a chicken schwarma rice bowl and all of the ingredients taste super fresh. The fries were made fresh and he made sure to pick out the best dessert. Definitely will be back many times for more.

The staff is behaving rudely and the service is poor, they (the staff) don't know what they are selling..We need to stress words thrice. Unless then he is able to understand ?Very disappointed..If it goes in this way u can close the restaurant in Jordan creek mall

I'm from Chicago originally. It was so amazing to have a gyro like how I grew up! And they even cater. My husband and I loved it.Very tasty. ???

Decent enough for mall food. It's conveniently in the mall so if I were there and hungry I would get it again otherwise I wouldn't bother. It was a solid healthier option than the rest of the things there. They had some interesting things like I enjoyed the chipotle hummus which was pretty unique I felt. Outside of that the food wasn't that fresh but better than some other quick meal spots. The workers were all very nice and fun and it created a positive environment.

A nice change from many of the nearby change. Tastes like someone actually took the time to put ingredients together to make the food. Would go back.

Had a lamb and beef gyro and a chicken shawarma with fries. Both were made to order right in front of us with a generous amount of meat and toppings and the fries were cooked when we ordered so everything was nice and fresh. Food was great with excellent seasoning. My wife even ate all of hers and that is a rarity. Service was prompt and came with a smile. Highly recommend.

This place gets an A+ for quantity of food and napkins given out. I ordered the traditional gyro on pita bread as pictured on the wall. They have the traditional gyro Roto cooker on the back counter. What I was served was a little different. It had decent taste, but wasn’t quite the same. For one thing, the meat had very little spice. Secondly, instead of cutting slices and then letting the outside of the meat get a little browned before the next slicing, it was all cut at once and put into serving warmers. It was ok, but there were no crispy bits. Lastly, unlike the poster on the wall, the onions had been finely diced as were the tomatoes, so the three main elements of the sandwich were a little off-texture wise. Lastly the above with a small piece of baklava, ran over $16, busting my lunch barrier, so it’s saltines and peanut butter tomorrow.

Food was actually really good! My Gyro was awesome! Only reason I rate so low is the service, teen who served me was on his phone and seemed almost annoyed I was getting food, made me feel rude for just getting lunch.. overall was a fine experience!

Food was delicious and the server's were so nice. They cook the falafel right when you order it, so its hot and fresh. Very nice flavor.

During one of our recent visits to the mall, we stopped by Hummus Mediterranean Grill for a quick lunch. We had Veggie bowls, along with Falafel and Fries.Fresh sauted veggies, with 3 different kinds of hummus made the Veggie bowl very special and tasty. To add to this, we had Pita and Fries on the side.Fries - was not your typical fries, but you can compare them to wedges. Taste was good and very fresh, little salty and spicy (not bland and tasteless). We've been to Gazali's as well, and it sucks. We ended up spending around $85 for 2 adults, and, we were still hungry after having food there. For approx. $20-$25, at Hummus Mediterranean Grill, two adults can have a satisfied and filling lunch. And the staff - they have a very pleasant attitude. The best Mediterranean food that we've had in Des Moines.

Got a bowl and the toppings were soggy/not fresh. Also the falafel I ordered was crispy on the outside but raw in the middle. I love Mediterranean but was disappointed overall with quality/taste.
