I frequent this place a lot. They have a decent happy hour and used to have a good drink discount but now only beer is on happy hour special & no other mixed drinks.Not to mention particular Chinese Kitchen staff continue to frequent the bar side for no valid reason. And was again here, engaging with friends but not helping. Disrespected the bar staff in front of me then tried to get him in trouble. Gave her friends free "samples" which she does a lot, giving away free food. Then gossiped until she was asked to go do her job elsewhere.They close at 7pm. It's been fine.I'm glad that management tries to help resolve issues & improve things. And seem to listen. Definitely appreciated.

The floral shop!! So impressed today on how they have it set-up and decorated for Valentines Day. Someone is real creative and they show so many good ideas for Valentine’s. Talked with Lory, so sweet and very helpful even as busy as she was.

after purchasing my groceries, went back into the store looking for my family memebers, I walked by the customer service counter where a gentleman was getting help from the cashier (at the counter). when the dog he had on his leash lunged at ne growling. it startled me enough to shake me up. that gentleman then accused me of being too aggressive towards his dog. I replied back to him, loudly, I was just walking by and he should have had more control of his dog. he got louder telling me not to be aggressive towards dogs. the yelling match continued between us. and, I had no help from the manager who was helping another customer. she did nothing to intervene. until I complained and she said she watch it all. Great SAFE PLACE to shop!

Every single grocery pickup experience has been poor. Inside the store employees aren’t very helpful and just generally seem like they couldn’t care less. Never received a credit for an entire tub of groceries they missed with my pick up order. The list goes on... I will however patronize other HyVee stores that are far more friendly and organized.

Ate breakfast here when visiting family. The service was great. The food was delicious. Our whole experience was perfect. I had my work mask with me and they asked me if I worked for Hy-Vee and I do, so I did get my discount that. Thanks. Will eat there again.

Freddie at the market grill is so pleasant and helpful every time I visit. He smiles with his eyes and speaks with a caring attitude of wanting to meet all of my needs. From him welcoming me to the market grill to having a great rest of my day...he puts a smile on my face! Exceptional customer service!!!
Here is a store that has all your needs. There are wide aisle, fresh produce, friendly staff, but what I miss the most is their mantra "a smile in every aisle," didn't see that, perhaps they dropped it. Here they have some of the freshest chicken and pot roast from behind the counter. The check out is simple and even the express self check out is easy to maneuver. If you have not stopped at the Hy Vee on Valley West Drive do so, you will be amazed at how friendly and productive all the workers are--after all-- the employees have stock in each Hy Vee--so they seem vested. Again, give local businesses a boast during these hard economic times!

It’s truly saddening when there are markers posted at every register that say to please stand back while the registers are sanitized between customers and it has never once happened in the many many times I have been in the store since they were posted. When you ask them if they are going to do it they say “oh no it’s fine” no it’s not fine for the customer or for the employee. This is a serious matter; people are dying!

one stop for everything that you need, prices are good and you can't beat the variety. Deli is crazy, soup and salad bar, pizza, Chinese food at a very reasonably price and the daily specials are unbelievable.
