Went with a group for a business dinner after it being recommended by our hotel bartender. When we walked inside it smelled like old fish, bad sign, and we even talked about going elsewhere but decided to stick it out. We ordered drinks and the martinis were terrible. Went to the bathrooms and they smelled horribly like sewage from the p-traps. ANOTHER red flag to start the evening but at that point it was a Hail Mary to see how the rest of the dinner would go. Appetizers like the bang bang shrimp were good, the shrimp itself was piping hot. The short rib ragu ravioli was more like ground pork inside, still ok. The pierogis were great, probably the best thing all night. Asked for recommendations from our server for entrees and she couldn’t give us ANY recommendations without looking at the menu. Asked if the sides were shareable and she said no, they were personal. When brought out they were MASSIVE and definitely shareable. Asparagus was not cut correctly so it was difficult to eat the stalk. Main dishes were very subpar. “Wagyu” tip pasta dish had the steak WAY overcooked, chewy and tough. Best dish was the beef stroganoff (still with overcooked steak) which was surprising to everyone at the table. They put balsamic glaze on a ton of their dishes which I don’t necessarily mind but could be off-putting to others. Ordered the chocolate cake to end the meal and it was so dry and just not very good overall. Later on everyone in the group felt sick. Had a bit of leftovers to take home and we will be throwing them away to be safe. For this being a local restaurant it seemed very chain restaurant-esque and nothing seemed fresh. Would not go back.

I celebrated my birthday at Irena's. After hearing really good things about the restaurant I must say I was disappointed. My guest's steak was ordered medium well but arrived rare. The lobster tail was dry. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail was overcooked and rubbery. The asparagus and the whipped potatoes were delicious. The star of the evening was the cocktails. Our server was not very attentive and could probably use more training if he is going to work in a fine dining establishment.Kid-friendliness: There were two options on the menu listed as children's meals.

If you are looking for an intimate atmosphere for a nice date night or a classy place for a larger party, this is the place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is awesome. Do not drive past this place as it is a little hidden gem in West Glen.We had the tomahawk for two special, a lobster tail, French onion soup, bang bang shrimp, and crab stuff mushrooms. All of it was wonderful and delicious. Three nights before (not even joking!) we had the halibut special, steak and lobster, and Boursin mushrooms. This dinner was also superb. We had the pleasure of Antonio as our waiter and Daniel as our bartender both times and lucky us! Both of them made our experience that much more and special.

Antonio knows how to cater to a perfect evening. The service was perfect, we stayed at the bar on a quiet Monday evening. The drinks were made well. His patience provided time to order the right food. We felt at home. Thank you, we also ordered a fine wine and it was decanted and served perfectly.

Everything was great. Our server knew what he was talking about. Made good suggestions. The lobster was a little over cooked, also the asparagus was a little tough and was not cut the bottoms off.The oysters were great! Drinks a little over priced but very good.We love finding new places to eat and drove 45 min to dsm to find some great dinning.
