We had a great experience here for our daughter’s 12 birthday. Our server Leah was great. The area they put us in the back was not as pleasing as the entrance area but that was ok.We went for the deluxe boil and was not disappointed. The house flavor was amazing and everything was cooked perfectly.We had a few drinks and the mermaid water was great. Appetizers we got hush puppies and cheese sticks. Pretty hard to mess up and we’re also fried just right.Leah brought my daughter a delicious piece of cheesecake for her birthday as well. I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for seafood and some hands on cracking.

We had us a great time here, the food was good, the music was good and Alliane was our server! she definitely is a top tier server, she’s a vibe and so sweet made sure we had what we needed and that we were satisfied. SO, be sure to tip my girl because the service will be worth it I promise you.

Went tonight for dinner and had a great time. There was a little bit of a wait, so we decided to sit at the bar. Our bartender was the best part of the night. Her name was Alliane and she was awesome. Not only did she do great waiting on us, she was constantly helping the new employees and giving them tips on how to be the best server. She also introduced some new drinks to us that were delicious. (not sure what it was called but tasted like a dum-dum sucker.) And of course food was phenomenal! Can't wait to come back.

Holy Cow!!! This place is awesome!!! Roll up your sleeves, bring a big appetite and prepare to get your hands dirty (dripping with goodness). We had the best food tonight and service. My spouse had Combo Special B. It had 1 lb. Snowcrab Legs, 1 lb. Shrimp, 1 lb. Crawfish, 2 potatoes, 2 corn on cob and 2 eggs boil with House Seasoning/mild. It was all spot on and amazing! The shrimp were large, as were the crawfish. I had an order of Crab Cakes (2 - sorry they were so good we almost ate them all before remembering to snap a photo), Bowl of Clam Chowder and 1/2 lb. of the pork sausage with House Seasoning/mild. Again all amazingly good. I like a hearty Clam Chowder and this one was spot one. You get a lot of food for the money here. Our server and the general manager were both friendly and attentive to our needs. If you are in the Des Moines area this is a "Must Check Out" place to eat.Parking: Easy parking and plenty of it.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible sidewalk and facility.

Understaffed waitresses - overstaffed everything else. Nobody checked on us once after food brought out. Had to finally ask for garbage bucket and lastly our check. Do not sit more than two people per booth, there is no room for bowls , garbage and drinks without spilling something. Food was cooked ok and enjoyed the seasoning but honestly underwhelmed.
