I ordered pizza and wings at this location at first everything was good then the person behind the counter told me he forgot to to have the wings out for 30 min before cooking so I was it’s ok it happens I’ll take the Pizza now and come back for the wings and when I came back I watched the same person behind the counter making the wings and handling the register and held cash money in his hand and it was $100 bill and as he taking the wings out of the frying basket One of the ones dropped on the counter he picked it up with his bare hands and put it in for my order I did express my concern. He remade my order, and still did not wash his hands as he made the new order I was trying to explain to him, but he doesn’t seem to understand that is very unfortunate. I absolutely was disgusted with this meal I can only imagine the cross-contamination in this place.

I just called now but the this guy Called Frank, was rude and just turned the call on my face, he asked for my phone and right when I was about to say 515 he just decides hung up on me instead of just getting my order. I understand that everybody got a bad but there is no reason to act like that, like that was super rude, the only reason y I called this Pizza Hut anyways was because it only, that the Pizza Hut that only delivers on according to my address numbers.

Ashworth Pizza Hut in West Des Moines. I am a 30 year customer who was yelled at, barked at when I arrived to get my pizza carry out on August 30, 2023. The manager Stan would not help when I complained and said the employee was Rick that worked there for fourty years. He barked at me, ordered, directed me then when I tried to leave yelled 'hey get back here' and also yelled at another employee Mathew in front of me was scary and I could not wait to leave the Ashworth West Des Moines Pizza Hut. The General Manager Stan would not help so I am calling Pizza Hut corporate to complain so no others have to be scared when entering this Pizza Hut.

Overall, a great place to order some Pizza hut great tasting pizzas.Although, I would avoid ordering pizzas at their busiest times which seems to be around dinner/night time. As they will start making a lot of mistakes such as undercooked, sloppy, bad tasting pizzas, & wrong orders. At least from my experience.

Order somewhere else. I've literally never had a good experience here. From the service to the food, the whole experience is frustrating. Every. Time. Statistically I should have at least one positive experience - nope. They just don't care. And I tip very well so it's not me. I now DRIVE to a different Pizza Hut or if I just have to have it delivered then I call Papa John's or Northern Lights.
I placed an order for a later time. I was afraid they might do it early and just leave it under a heat lamp for an hour. No problem. I arrived a few minutes early and they pulled the pizzas out of of the oven exactly at my scheduled time. Tasted great, too. With all the other options, people forget how great Pizza Hut is.

Bread sticks were extremely un-seasoned, cold, and soggy. Restaurant was in disarray and the manager was very flustered and yelling at everyone, including people on the phone.

The staff at this location are always friendly and polite. They know how to read an order so the pizza is correct when you get it and they can cut a pizza correctly. They don't skimp on toppings and they are open later than other locations. All in all one of the better Pizza Huts in the DSM area!
