Horrible all around. Disgusting and no one there really cares.Horrible management and ownership.. go somewhere elseThey reply with contact management. Which they don't have. They just reply to make themselves look good.

In the 15 minutes we've been sitting here, we had to ask twice for our drinks. All the while we watched the bartender take 4 shots in the span of that short time. There are 3 servers and 1 bartender currently with only 5 tables full of patrons. Shouldn't take that long and the bartenders shots shouldn't take priority. Likely will not be back after this.

Mojitos WAS our favorite place to get Mexican food in Des Moines. Their margaritas are fantastic and don't taste like mix. Their salsa is delicious and complex. And their green sauce is excellent. The last time we were there in January, we saw a mouse. We figured the -20 weather may have had something to do with it and decided we to continue. We quietly let staff know so they were aware of the problem. We tried again in early April, hoping it'd be rodent free. Upon walking in, a mouse ran near a booth in the bar area. We informed staff and promptly walked out. Unfortunately, we won't be back to Mousehouse Mojitos

Went there tonight with my kids. This trip was the worst experience I have ever had at Mojitos unfortunately. I found a blue piece of plastic in my meat and when I showed it to the waiter he did nothing. My refried beans tasted like soap. I know this is a Mexican restaurant so I didn't expect my daughter's cheeseburger to be all that spectacular but it was inedible. Dry sad piece of meat that I'm not even sure was beef.It took forever to get our check and forever for them to come back with my card. It wasn't really all that busy maybe six tables with two waiters. We would frequent the Marshalltown location often when we lived there and think this location could take a couple pointers from them. Not sure if we'll ever be back honestly....

Friend recommended we go there. I had read other reviews. Hoped it would be different. It was not. Service and management need training. They offer good food and drinks but actually getting them to the table or ordered was horrendous. Our server was nice and patient but hardly available. Also it was very loud and we could hardly talk as a table. Inevitably paired off to whoever was closest. If you want good food, go! But atmosphere and service are why rating is so low.

it's my first time at this restaurant and I came with someone who spoke Spanish. Due to that fact, they never spoke directly to me or even acknowledged me in English I ended up having to ask the man do you speak English because I wanted to order my food but they kept speaking to my friend as though it was my fault that I didn't speak Spanish in an English speaking area. The bartender is it up recommending a drink that cost $16, it was more than my entree. this was a horrible experience and I will never spend my hard earned American money there again.

Very good food, but the place is SO LOUD! If you want to actually talk to your companion, you might want to consider some place else, or maybe do take out.

Was greeted right away. Sat outside with a friend. I didn't realize how big my drink would be according to the description, but it was huge! The portions are gigantic! Everything was delicious and flavorful! Great prices! Great food! The staff was super accommodating!

We've enjoyed going to Mojito's since they opened, but recently we have been disappointed, as the service and quality has been declining. The biggest problem with our last visit was cleanliness; the menus were DISGUSTING. They should be cleaning these plastic menus every single day, but mine was so gross it even SMELLED like hot garbage. The second problem was their refried beans. Their chef apparently is really into Fall Flavors, because the beans were orange and tested like some weird fall spice mix. It wasn't just the refried beans they put on your plate as a side, these were also INSIDE THE BURRITO. How do you take something as basic and refried beans and decide to add an extremely unusual spice to it and then serve it in EVERYTHING rather than as an option? We like(d) this place, their margarita's are huge and really good, their carnitas are great, but we are not going back for a few months after this. If we try them again in a few months and they have not substantially improved their cleanliness and returned to normal refried beans, we will not ever go back again.
