The bakery went out if way to make last minute request for birthday cake for my daughter in law. Very specific requests were done with a smile and on time!! Thank you!Must try their specials on Saturdays. Get their early. Or they'll sell out!!Parking: Easy and lots parking!!
This is a pleasant "Bakery on the Square" that my Dad and I stopped at during our recent drive through Winterset (think Bridges of Madison County). We had just come from the John Wayne Museum and I was looking for a sweet roll for my early hotel room coffee the next morning. We got donuts and they were very good! Came back though town and got a hamburger onion pizza and cheese garlic bread. All very, very, good!! Thin crust was perfect with a great crunch!
