This was my second time here. I had eaten here 10 years ago. The service and atmosphere were great. I ordered the fish tacos because it said it was a Rumbi favorite on the menu and I like fish tacos. However, they were bland and very very watery. Tons of water came out of them, making the tortilla soggy. Also making difficult to eat and it was very messy. The fries and rice were good.

I've gone to this restaurant twice in the last 2 weeks - The sign says they close at 8:00 pm and both times I've gotten there around 7:30 pm - The door is open and I walk in, only to be told they stopped serving... Really? change your hours or lock the door. Nothing irritates me more then people who run their business unprofessionally- If you can't run a business, get out of business!!! I'm NEVER going to try again and I'm going to bad mouth you every chance I get.

Something different. Good clean freshly made food. I pay more now for a McDonald's quarter pounder meal than I did for my 1/2 fire grilled chicken rice bowl. And trust me, the 1/2 bowl is a large portion. I couldnt eat it all. Everything we've had here was fresh, and cooked to order. Something that's really been lacking in the dining out experience ever since The "Pandemic". The food is heavily Hawaiian/Caribbean influenced. But they have white rice if coconut rice isn't your thing. Their is something for everyone. And they make bussing sweet potato/regular French fries. The staff was great. Friendly. The food was fast. I highly recommend.

Man, what a hidden gem in Idaho Falls! Have been meaning to try this place for a while, and am upset we didn't try it sooner. Had a sweet pork bowl. The meat was soooo tasty!! Tender with so much flavor. The island mac was also great. The teriyaki noodles were a big surprise! Think spaghetti noodles drowned in a great teriyaki sauce. Amazing taste where everything works together. Food came really fast. The young man who took our order was super friendly and made sure to ask 2 to 3 times how things were going and if he could get us anything. Great service! Prices were good too. Great value overall! We will be back soon.
So so good! Great service and friendly atmosphere! If you like coconut, you gotta try the RUMBI Rice with your bowl. ? Mmmmmm-yum!

This restaurant was ok. The service however was excellent. My first time visiting I got the Rumbi Sweet Pork Salad. It was average. The lime did help.
Love Rumbi! My favorite dish in Idaho Falls is there Volcano Salmon with Rumbi rice. Mammas tortilla soup is a close second.
