Love the chips and salsa. Food is pretty good too. Other Mexican places have disappointed but not this place.

While I understand than cinco de Mayo is incredibly busy for Mexican restaurants. We waited for nearly two hours, completely understanding that they were slammed, only to get our food home and have it half cooked, missing ingredients and had plastic wrapping in the enchiladas. Only ate a few bites then just couldn't anymore. Incredibly disappointed.

We ate at Amigos Mexican Restaurant once before and wanted to try this place again. Our server was very polite, however, I found his English very hard to understand. I asked for a couple explanations of some items on the menu and I honestly could not understand any of his explanations. I ordered the Pollo a la Mexicana and my wife ordered the Big Burrito with pork. My meal was very good. The flavor was something new and delicious to me. However, the Big Burrito was a Big Disappointment! It was filled mostly with beans and had very little meat in it. It was quite soggy and actually bland. The place appeared clean and I may try it again sometime even though I live quite aways from it. Do not order the Big Burrito.

Living in San Diego and in Boise for business, I was craving authentic Mexican food. Was told this quaint little place would meet my very critical food expectations. I ordered the seafood tamales, which were over flowing with crab and fresh shrimp.Bottom line - I was extraordinary surprised by the over the top delicious food and wonderful service. Highly recommend this place when craving authentic Mexican food while in Boise. Bon Appetite.

Disappointed. Terrible. Salt for days couldn't hardly touch our food. Half a bean in the bottom of the chips and melted cheese on one of the chips; did they put someone's nachos back in with the chips? They were so nice and friendly, which is why I was really sad that the food wasnt good.
