Their vegetarian option is replacing the carne with sopping wet beans that disintegrate the raw corn tortillas upon impact, and then still charging you full price for it ? I regret spending $15 on two tacos here.

Well here we go again. I arrived at Bluewave at Boise spectrum at around 2:00 pm. There was one young guy behind the counter who looked stoned. I ordered a carne Asada street taco and a carnitas "bluewave street taco". The guy behind the counter looked a little lost, but eventually started making the food while talking to himself. 10 minutes later my food was brought to my table. Upon first look, I was pretty happy. It looks really good. Looks being the key. Carne Asada Street Taco ($3 ) : fairly large chunks of beef that I'm assuming were overcrowded in the pan because it seemed almost boiled. No grilling at all. Fairly tough and lacking flavor. Yellow corn tortilla that was cracking as I attempted to eat it. Beef chunks are far too large. Salsa was VERY watery. Carnitas "blue wave street taco" ($4.50) : oh boy. This entire thing was a fail. Blue corn tortilla fell apart almost immediately. The carnitas were tough and dry which I didn't think could be done. They also seemed to be flavored with a completely excessive amount of cinnamon. Whole pinto beans. I'll say that again. WHOLE PINTO BEANS. They almost tasted like pork and beans from a can. I have nothing positive to say about this taco. Overall: Hard pass. There are much better tacos within a couple miles of this place. They tried to make hipster tacos, and failed miserably. I won't be back.

I would say this is a hard pass. Taco shell fell apart. Most of the meat was so fatty it was inedible for three of us. The nachos were dry and plain. We ended up ordering food in the theater and it was a million times better. Guessing this will be another restaurant that goes under at Edwards.

This is the worst food experience I have ever had. The food is old and horrible tasting. This business should be shut down. Eat at a gas station instead. You will at least be able to swallow the food without spitting it out. Whoever owns this place has no business being a restaurant proprietor. I would like to witness the owner eating this crap. The website will not allow me to post zero stars so I had to post one.

Excellent taqueria. Tortillas are fresh made and very very good. Cilantro and onion is fresh and flavorful. Salsa could use a little more kick. I really liked the chile verde chicken.

I came here for lunch today and wow it was awesome. I ordered the super chicken taco and it was fresh and delicious. They handmake the corn tortillas here and they taste soooooooo good. Also, the chicken and green sauce were amazing. I will be back here to try their beef super taco and quesadilla.

These were easily the best corn tortillas I've had in Idaho, maybe some of the best ever from a taco shop. Simple but really well executed, we'll definitely be back.

I tried this place last night, which is located in the Chow Public Market and Eatery at the Boise Spectrum Center. Outstanding! I had the Bluewave Supreme taco. It is an 8" blue corn tortillas, which was made fresh for my order. It has your choice of meat, red beans, rice, cheese, cilantro, crema, cotija and your choice of red or green salsa. They tell you the red salsa is a bit spicier but I honestly didn't think it was hot. The taco as a whole, however, was delicious!! I had chicken as my meat and my friend had the pork. I tasted a piece of his pork and it was amazing. The taco is pretty big and was too much for me to pick up and eat as a taco until I was about half done. The atmosphere is like a really chill laid back food court that has been kicked up a notch. I will come back again try more items on the
