I have always enjoyed the original space, so was thrilled when BB expanded and added food. The food is pretty good! The beers are good. Service in the original taproom was always fun and friendly. The service in the restaurant is NOT. There is one server who I'm always happy to see--she is fun and friendly and good at her job. The others I have had experience with are NOT. The gentleman who helped us last night didn't even speak...he more grunted at us. When he brought the food he just slid it across the table and walked away. He acted like the entire thing was a chore for him and he would rather be having a root canal. This has been my over-arching experience. I would like to say I'll be back, but it's been this way 3 or 4 times and it makes it hard to want to try again. Especially when there is so much good beer and good service in downtown Boise. I hope this is constructive. I really want to support you guys, but you need some friendlier happier servers, please? My friends and are always friendly and polite, and I'm a great tipper...but this is just not acceptable.

Definitely would come back for more of their food and libations. They had their own brews but also offered others as well as cider and draft/canned cocktails and wine. All the food was excellent and would order again. Mexi loaded fries, fried chicken sandwich, and the poblano burger were awesome! Will be back.
Fun place, several good beers and they have added a restaurant.

Very disappointed, I've been wanting to try this place and we sat there for 20 minutes after the lady told us where to sit just to get completely ignored!

In the past I’ve had good experiences with Boise Brewing but this experience has made it so I will never return. You’ve lost this passionate beer lover for life. The waitress (tall purple hair chick) wouldn’t take my order. She came to the table and asked what we would like to drink. My friend gave her his order. Then I said I would take a flight. She responded with “I don’t have time for that” and walked away. That’s not the kind of service to give your customers. Found out later she told my brother the same thing when he ordered. So we will never return if they have customer service like that.

Just stopped in for a couple beers and really liked what we tried. We sat upstairs (the downstairs was filled with people watching sports on the TVs behind the bar + folks watching the live music that started playing as we left.) Weather wasn’t nice, but it looks like they have some great outdoor seating.

Everyone in Boise who drinks at breweries already knows about their beer. But that food tho!! Fantastic service, fantastic food, and everyone already knows they got great beer. Try the chicken sandwich, I've lived in Boise my whole life and haven't had a better one.
I heard Boise brewing was a great place to go in downtown Boise. Showed up at 8: 25. As we walked in staff turned off the open light and said we had last call 20 minutes ago. I said your website says you're open until 10:00. She said winter hours....The other patrons said what you had last call? We didn't here that. It was awkward and extremely rude. Sounds like somebody just wants to go home.

Their smash burger is the best burger I have ever had, Boise or anywhere. I have not had every burger, but many, and this was perfection. Their beer list is also impressive, I went with the crème beer which was well built, smooth and balanced. It was good enough to repeat.My only gripe is I wish this place was closer.
