I used to think the crostada was the best item on the pastry counter. Not after today! The coffee cake was outstanding. Best bakery item I have ever had with a cup of coffee. Flavorful, dense, and perfectly moist.

My best friend and I spent a week in Boise and went here every day, for breakfast and lunch. The food is amazing, coffee too, staff very friendly and after every meal we were already thinking about the next one. Have to say I really miss Boise because of them!

Brilliant little breakfast/lunch counter with a fantastic English Muffin sandwich. One of the best I've ever had. The Huevos Rancheros burrito was also good, but nowhere near as flavorful as the sandwiches.We didn't have their coffee, but their freshly brewed tea was delicious!The house made shortbread cookies were ridiculously good! I could have eaten a dozen in one sitting. The lemon bar was also rich and citrusy tart, with just the right amount of sweetness.The only negative about this place is the lack of seating... especially considering how busy they can get. On a nice day, that is not an issue, as it's Hyde Park, but when it's raining/snowing? Better enjoy sitting in your vehicle if you don't live in the neighborhood.We look forward to our next visit!

Roast turkey sandwich is the best turkey sandwich I've had since the Brick Oven Beanery/Bistro went out of business. I will be back! Great lemon bars too.
Love the place. Great and quick service, even on a Sunday morning. Everything is made in house or local. The English muffins here are famous. Definitely worth getting (if you're not allergic to gluten). The pastries and baked goods at the front are worth trading a kidney for. Anytime I'm back in Boise, I'll be here for brunch and goodies.Dietary restrictions: GF/V options on many menu items. The Chocolate Brownie Cookie is Gluten-Free. The sandwiches as a GF alteration are definitely satisfying. The GF bread is really good, and they will ask if your GF option is "allergy" or "lifestyle" choice. If you are allergic, they will isolate the preparation of your food, as well as ensure to change gloves to avoid cross-contamination. Definitely enjoyed my experience as a sufferer of Gluten-allergy, and have not experienced any triggers or side effects.

Absolutely our favorite coffee shop and bakery in Boise! So many items to choose from for dine in or take out (bowls, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods galore) and prepared foods (lasagnas, pot pies, burritos, salads, etc) for dinner. Some of our favorites include the breakfast sandwiches with their own English muffins, the grain bowl, granola bar (it’s HUGE) and had the chicken pot pie last night! Their coffee and homemade syrups are always on point.
