The ONLY thing my daughter wanted for her 20th birthday was a very very nice cake. When I ordered her cake from Emmeli's, I provided a reference photo my daughter gave me. The response was professional but warm, communicative and thoughtful. Upon ordering, I felt confident that I'd receive a suitable product- but when I say the cake was perfection, I'm not exaggerating. It looked EXACTLY like the reference. But even better, when we sliced into it, it was unbelievably delicious.A melt in your mouth, dreamy, creamy buttercream surrounded layer upon layer of moist chocolate sponge and rich chocolate ganache. The balance of the light sponge and the decadent ganache was masterful.The service was terrific, the cake was amazing. Overall- 20/10. I can't recommend Emmeli's cake enough.

I was able to order a cake last minute, the week of Christmas, online through the website and email (my favorite way to do things) I put in my request hoping they could do it, received an enthusiastic response very quickly, and had a price and cake ordered by EOD. I picked it up on my chosen day and time- that's so nice and it was exactly what I had wanted. I sent a photo for reference and they matched it perfectly. And finally, it was fricking delicious. I did spend a little more than I had originally wanted to but I must admit, it was worth every penny and I can't wait for another reason to needto order an expensive, beautiful, delicious cake.

She absolutely nailed the decoration but was also quick to formulate a custom cake for someone without a sweet tooth. This buttery savory cake was perfect in size too, and was the best price quoted to me compared to many other places. She was also spot on with communication and I felt confident booking her out almost a month in advance.

Emmeli’s Cake did my wedding cake (and cake pops) for my October 2022 wedding. It ruined all future cake for my husband. We got several cakes afterward because he was craving it, and every time he was so disappointed because “it’s not nearly as good as our wedding cake was.” The cake was also beautiful. We decided to get one for our anniversary this year, and when I reached out she let me know one year anniversary cakes are free of charge. Emmeli was wonderful to work with and her cakes are as beautiful as they are tasty. I ordered red velvet with cream filling and pistachio with pistachio cream filling cupcakes for my wedding back in May, and my guests couldn’t get enough. The frosting was so light and fluffy and the cake was moist and flavorful. Her frosting artwork was amazing. I didn’t really have much as far as specifications, and she showed up with several boxes of cupcakes , each with unique floral designs. Emmeli is a true artist. 100% recommend.

I tried to order a cake with her twice and got turned away the first time because I was told I needed at least ten days notice. I gave her the benefit of doubt and tried again a second time. This time I followed the 10 days advance but never received an email response until 5 days before I needed the cake. I was told the she was booked up for the weekend even though I reached with enough time. She doesn’t have a phone line where you can reach out for orders. It just rings and no one answers. I had to follow up with an email to see if she had received my request and if she could do it, the only response I got was that she was booked for that weekend, no apology for not seeing it and responding to it earlier. Terrible customer service. Why have people email and fill out a request when they have to wait to the last minute to get a response. Luckily I didn’t put all my hope into her and went with another baker who responded same day. I do not recommendEmmeli’s cake.

I dont know if it was just an off day, but this was the worst experience we have ever had with a cake business. We found this place by researching beautiful custom cakes in the area. We checked out the website and read the reviews - boy were we so wrong! Frankly, how is this place still around? We emailed information about the cake we wanted and asked if it can be done. The replies were prompt and friendly. We were stoked when we were emailed that it can be done so we placed an order for a 21st birthday cake (yes, milestone bday). Anyway, we placed the order 3 weeks before we needed it - lots of time for a small cake (8-10 people). After the initial email, I was told I would get a sketch of the cake. It took about 2 wks before we heard back and no sketch. It was a little frustrating, but I trusted a professional and didnt need a sketch since we were due to pick the cake up in 4 days. Day of pick up...i was SO infuriated and humiliated to what I got. You guys, it was complete trash. Nothing at all as we requested. NOTHING. Just a cake covered in fondant with a very poor attempt at last minute decor that was falling apart. You can tell it was rushed. The decor looked like toddler play-dough art. No exaggeration. I couldnt even believe I had to pay for it! Look at what we got vs cakes on the website. Idk if it was the owner who came out and presented the mess to me, but she apologized. She said she didnt have enough time. Seriously?!?! This was for a 21st birthday...if you were having an off day or week or month, you should have had the courtesy or professionalism to communicate that via email, phone, or even text! The minute you knew you could not deliver, you should have told me and refunded me what I paid. I would have had time to take my business elsewhere. Instead, you selfishly refunded me only some of my money because you argued that I still got a cake. WTH. Who conducts business like this? All the cakes at Albertson's, Walmart, and Fred Meyer were better than the cake we got. I went to your business because I wanted more than a grocery store cake for a 21st birthday. Thanks for ruining that. The Albertson's bakery team felt so bad for me that they threw together the cake that you could not in a matter of hours. It was beautiful and delicious...and waaay cheaper.We kept your cake because it was an expensive cake...you should also know, it was dry.

We ordered a gluten free circus themed birthday cake for 20 people. It was phenomenal - beautifully decorated, but the real treat was the cake itself. The best we’ve ever had sweet but not overly so moist and tender filling was creamy and light. I highly recommend Emmeli’s.
