I love Ha'Penny. Fun joint to kick back in a listen to live music. The food here has always rocked! Good service and fun atmosphere.

Great whisky selection. Tried several I hadn't had before. Most Boise bars have 3 or 4 Scotch selections and a few Irish bottles. Ha'Penny has lots to choose from and good food too. More than enough beers on draft too. Great place to escape to on a weekend afternoon when the kids are driving me and the wife nuts!

Great atmosphere and amazing music. They we're busy a few days ago and the guy who usually cooks the food was working out front. My mom and Grandma got the corned beef which is delicious and I got the french dip and yummy tomato soup. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be there tomorrow for St Paddys Day celebrating.

Worst service ever , 45 minutes wait for. Cheeseburger and tempura veggies and then they were cold, the manager did attempt to make it right however by removing the veggies, that being said the wait staff were horrible they did not check on whether the food was ready and seemed overwhelmed by a semi full restaurant, better Training and staffing would probably help, maybe

Decent fi get steaks, and the fries were amazing, but I was very surprised and disappointed that they were out of Scotch Eggs because of a large party the night before. Seems like something an Irish pub would prioritize having on hand.
