Most of us had the chicken and filet mignon (cooked to order). If you want, you can even try to catch a shrimp in your mouth when the chef flips it up towards your mouth. It can be done, but not by all. Even the 2 year old was entertained. Plenty of free parking too and easy to find.Parking: Appox. 20 spots behind the restaurant

I'm not updating my review from years ago, but i do want to say my positive review was for the previous owners and employees. Kyotos has new owners and employees now, I've only seen 1 employee that stuck around since the change.Kyotos was one of my families favorite places, and the old employees became friends of ours due to our frequency. My review cannot say much for the new owners/employees. They seem to never have availabity for walk ins, even though empty seats are present. Old Kyotos would Always find seats for us, and they were way more busy then I've seen with the new Kyotos. So it's definitely different now.Review for the old owners and employees: Kyotos is one of my family's favorite places to eat, and hands down the best sushi in Idaho that I've tried. Service is always amazing also. We come to this place a few times a month, that is how much we love this place and the staff. <3

Really enjoyed the experience here. Reservation on OpenTable makes it really easy.Audrey was a treat and so friendly and attentive! The sushi rolls here are the best in the treasure valley. They remind me of the quality you see in Seattle area.We will definitely return:)

Our family's first time ever with hibachi was a hit! Our picky eater gobbled up his tempura chicken with fries and teriyaki sauce and we all LOVED the yakisoba noodles--definitely worth the extra upgrade! Due to the nature of the cooking and seating, a conversation with further than two people over is a challenge but the overall experience is a "do-over" for us and our 7, 9 and 14 year old boys!

Our waitress was awesome. Our food was so yummy. Out for our Anniversary dinner, wise choice picking Kyoto, our table didn't have a show. But that's ok, we had a good time

This was my husband and I's 3rd time in since yall started your ayca and we really love it! The portions are great the fish is fresh and the service is fantastic. This time though we did feel our rolls were super rice heavy. Fingers crossed it was just a mistake and not a tactic! Regardless we enjoyed the experience!

Went for my birthday last night with a pretty large party. Pedro was our chef, and out of the probably hundreds of times I’ve dined here, this was hands down the best experience. He was very skilled, super witty and entertaining, and the food was amazing. Best hibachi around by a mile. Thank you, Pedro, for making my birthday dining experience really feel special and fun!

Great place to eat, they were busy, but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. Make sure to make a reservation. Food was delicious, the entertainment (our chef) was great. I highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance!

Chef did not cook steak to one person's preference at the table and sadly, the mustard sauce has been replaced. Seafood is not kept separate from the other items cooking, so if you have issues with seafood, this can be a serious issue. It has really changed for the worse, food wise, since they reopened after the remodel and ownership change.

The hubby and I had a date night and I wanted to try somewhere new. He hasn't been there in a very long time and I had never been, so we went! I was able to get a reservation the same day and was seated within 5 minutes of getting there. Our hibachi chef was super funny and really nice and our waitress was on top of it! The food was soooooo delicious! The hubby and I both had lobster and scallops and we shared the ninja potstickers, spicy, to start. A bit more spendy than other hibachi restaurants in the valley, but worth it. We are totally coming back. Might just have to make this my birthday dinner in a month.

Awesome place to eat and the service was amazing. My only complaint was that I had made a reservation in advance for Valentines day and was sat at a teeny tiny counter. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was friendly and attentive.

Dietary restrictions: A guest at our table asked for there meal to be made gluten free. The waitress was very friendly and informed her that they are not certified gluten free but would do there best to accommodate her.
