It is a simple truck with a makeshift dining area, but that is the charm because the food is made with love. The lady knows how to make the best beans and rice. I got homesick for my Mexican residence after having a recent meal here.

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this little gem yesterday when running some errands. I love authentic Mexican food and was tired of the "new school" food I had been constantly running into lately. This place reminded me of my home town. Absolutely wonderful food, great customer service.. extremely helpful and lots of smiles and good conversation. The food smelled so delicious whilenwe waited. The gentlemen who took my order was wholesome and kind and the woman cooking the food was energetic and excited and so sweet. They both went above and beyond countless times. Went in tonight to grab two carnitas tacos and was delighted as they were tender and flavorful. Service was speedy and the workers were very sweet, even giving me a hot drink while I waited as it was raining outside! I will definitely be back and want to try even more of their amazing food!

Lorena and the man on staff the day of writing this were both beyond polite and friendly. The food was delicious and clearly handmade through and through. The chilequiles had good spice, was intensely savory, and and left the chicken very moist. It was cool to see a wider selection of traditional Mexican dishes included in their menu as well, I'll have to visit again to try more.

My sister and I went there last week. We both loved our experience. My sister lives in France and wanted Mexican food. We grew up where there was yummy Mexican food. Since living in Boise the term authentic is used a lot. Lorena’s food IS authentic. Lorena and her nephew were great! I’m going back today with my husband for the breakfast burritos. Can’t wait!
