We were looking for a place with simple food, close to home....keep looking...Food is mediocre at best, but the service isn't worth one star.We were never asked about ordering a second drink( the staff and one drunk were too busy in their own conversations)The temperature outside was 47 and breezy...the drunk decided to open the garage door ..he must have some unknown authority...if they don't want the business...just blow and freeze the patron out.Terrible place....don't waste time, money or energy on this place.

Had pretzels w/cheese and it wasn't fully cooked but the worst part was the service. After seating myself I was totally ignored by the waiter who stood in front of me watching TV. After waiting 15 minutes with no service, I walked up to the bar to place my own order. The bartender who had long hair was cool. The waiter with the mustache was horrible. Every time he would bring my food out, I would say "Thank You" and would just say "Yeah". I usually go to Lucky 13 once a month, not anymore.

Great place to take a big crowd and lots of outdoor seating and even an upper deck. Food is just ok.

The food has really gone downhill. I am so disappointed I enjoy going to Lucky 13 during the spring /summer time. The chicken on our pizza tasted like it was microwaved and came from a package. The pizza had no flavor whatsoever. Not sure what happened.I was there a few months ago and the pizza was at least edible. Unfortunately I will not be going back to Lucky 13.

I like the space but the reviews don't lie, the service kind of sucks. I tried to order a sandwich today and they were out of sandwich bread lol. I don't think it's their fault, seems like they don't have a lot of support. For a place with a lot of bad reviews, it sure is busy.

I have been here 3 times since 2020, hoping each year it will improve. The pizza is average, but good beer selection. The atmosphere is rather unremarkable, and a bit noisy and utilitarian. Location for me is good. This last time, after a ~30 minute wait, I was brought the wrong pizza. Didn't have time to have the correct one made, so went without. My teenage son said his was okay. The wait staff said they "comped" my pizza. I explained it wasn't comped as I never got anything, so it was merely removed from my bill. I won't give them another chance.

From out of town, lots of people eating pizza here so thought perhaps it would be good but not the case. Cardboard pizza at best. Surprised people pay a high price for this.

We did a pick up order over the weekend and ordered a couple pizzas. I ordered their Margherita pizza, and when we opened up the box it was missing some of the toppings and was quite an underwhelming pizza. I absolutely despise sending food back, but was disappointed that the pizza that arrived was not the pizza I had anticipated or ordered. I called Lucky 13 and they were so kind, and without hesitation apologized for the error and made it right. The kitchen was unfortunately closed for the night, but they were able to put a note in the system for me to pick up another pizza. Luckily, we were able to stop by before heading back home to SLC the following day. I don't know that I would order the Margherita pizza from here again, but I did really enjoy the pizza here. The sauce was amazing, and almost even had a little bit of spice maybe? The dough was delicious. The small pizza is the perfect personal sized pizza. Every time we drove by this place over the weekend, their patio was packed. Although we didn't dine in, the staff was friendly during our interactions on the phone and in person, and the space itself was spacious with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Excited to come back here during my next visit to Boise.

Update - really bummed about new ownership change in 2023 as the pizza that they were famous for changed drastically. Now it's just well...meh. They changed the recipe for sure and the basic crust and sauce are not good.

Much better pizza this time. New management has turned it back around is ehat the word is. Noisy at times but a great place to get with others. Outside in the spring and fall are the best. Needs more parking.

It's just so sad what has happened to Lucky 13. We started going to Lucky when it was in Hyde Park and they "followed" us to Harris Ranch. It was such a great neighborhood place! Everyone was there on the weekends! The vibe, the people, the experience used to be great.... NOW -all gone. New ownership, new food, and not a lot of good. Service was horrible, pizza was like cardboard. Seriously worse than a frozen pizza out of a box. Our server checked on us so infrequently that we were going to the bar to get our own drinks. Ironically that's how they ran it in the good old days-it was all counter service. But if you're going to have a waitstaff then make sure they are actually taking care if their tables. They weren't even that busy... I'd say skip it. Boise has too many great restaurants now- you don't need to go to one that just doesn't really give a sh!t about anything...

As much as I want to love Lucky 13, their delivery is consistently mediocre. The taste of their pizza is generally good, but we have multiple experiences of it being served lukewarm. I'm glad they upgraded the paper plates, but the plastic utensils are useless. The service is often slow to disinterested at best. The atmosphere is fun, and their patio is one of the better ones in the valley (great for a beer after recreating on the Greenbelt or at Lucky Peak), but I often find myself choosing another dining spot after having multiple underwhelming experiences.
