This is our favorite place when we travel to Idaho. It is the absolute best Italian restaurant and it is the place to dine, whether you are looking for a casual evening or dressy dinner out. We ate here tonight and our waiter, Vincent, was great. He was very professional and so kind and helpful. We never had to wait long for him to come back to our table. The Chicken Piccata was the best I have had. My husband had the lasagna and it was better than my Italian grandmother makes. I had the Guinness cake for dessert and our daughter-in-law had the Tiramisu. Both were excellent. If you are in the mood for Italian food this is definitely the place to go.

Our meal was delicious. My husband had the meat lover pizza and I had the mushroom ravioli. Our waiter was helpful and his suggestions were excellent. Thank you.

Yo.1 star for the bar keep1 star for the hostess (yo)Ha. Negative everything for the food I paid for.Lasagna was nuked. Taste is great. Need a knife. See pic.Focaccia was burnt. See pic.Beet salad (paid full price) was a half sized portion and they forgot the dressing. You know what a beet salad is without dressing? Dirt. SEE PICS.Look, fix your pricing or fix your cooks. Hostesses are great. Barkeep was great. If 8:15 is out of the question for value, then fawk the rest. You should be embarrassed.

If you think the location and historical attributes of this building are great, the food is even better! The PIZZA is arguably the best pizza in town. I don’t normally eat the crust but I couldn’t get enough! Butter and herb rubbed crust made in house - the ingredients are fresh and the flavor is everything you would expect from the most genuine of Italian jointsMy wife had the spaghetti and meatballs - which was only slightly better than the pizza. We spent some time discussing the history of the building and the feel of old Boise in general - definitely a true gem of a place. The owner cares about the customer experience and it shows

We were here for the Big Sky Conference Tournament and called to make a reservation for 21 people. When we tried to schedule, they pushed us back to 7:30 (from 6:30) to make sure they could accommodate us. When we arrived, we were amazed! They were on too of everything and the service was just fantastic. We were shocked when they put up a little sign that had a school logo and welcomed our group! After all that, the food was phenomenal. Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone, they rock!

I love this place and when you're able to get a a reservation for the fireside table do it. It's great. Atmosphere is romantic and fun. And the owner is a great great guy. This business needs more business so go eat there. You won't regret it.

Papa Joe's has the best food and service! The owner Patrick is so incredibly congenial. This place is an icon in the Boise community. They should be the best of Boise every year! My project, "Lamontamay" live acoustic duo show plays there every other weekend on Saturdays 5-8 pm and they always have the most relaxed and welcoming crowd! The staff and owner make sure to make every party feel welcome and satisfied!

I've been going to Papa Joe's for decades and it's always good. Just went for an anniversary and got the kind of genuine service you just can't find these days. Papa Joe's hits the sweet spot when you want casual excellence...from a couples dinner to a group special event where you'll leave feeling good about your choice...and definitely no longer hungry.

Our waiter was very personable and the food was delicious! We were also excited to see specials that fit the theme of the ballet show we were attending at the Morrison Center that evening. It made our entire night very special. Would recommend!
