I’m so sad to have to rate it one star, but when I went to Union Block I was mortified at the state of it. I was so excited for this place to open because one of their shticks was that almost everything on their regular menu could be made vegan, and for awhile it was! Don’t get me wrong- their food is pretty delicious especially the flatbreads.But I was told by the waitress today that they are cutting down their menu and getting rid of almost ALL their vegan stuff. She even mentioned how people come here JUST for the vegan options, so I have no idea why they would do this. Not to mention their customer service is terrible. They have way too few waiters so much so the chef himself and the bartender had to take orders. We also had lipstick stained glasses on our first round of waters.Overall so disappointed that the restaurant has taken this turn, I only hope they can improve.

Just ordered on Uber eats at about 9:00pm, we were super excited to try it because of the vegan options. We ordered the califlower Buffalo wings, a vegan burger with fries, and a vegan chicken sandwich. We didn’t receive any vegan ranch we paid for, no Buffalo sauce, no burger with fries, and not even napkins or utensils.The only thing that was right was the vegan chicken sandwich. So now we’re mad that we just spent over $40 on a chicken sandwich, fried cauliflower with no sauces, and an entire meal missing. Are you serious? We tried calling the restaurant and were told the kitchen closes at 10pm so they can’t do anything about it, so we asked for a manager and the phone was given to the chef of the kitchen for some reason instead. Since the kitchen closed right when our order was delivered they cannot remake the items in our order that we paid for but online it says they close at 11pm. Being vegan there are not many options in Boise so we were excited about this place but we will never try it again after this, this was a super disappointing experience.

I hate to say this (being a huge fan of mai thai) but I would not recommend this restaurant. The waitress knew almost nothing about the menu, the food was meh and their water tasted like it came straight out of a toilet bowl. It’s too bad because I was super excited about this place.

We just sat at the bar and ordered cocktails before heading to our dinner reservation. This place is brand new and super clean. Bartender was great and the cocktails were delicious.

Union Block has absolutely amazing fries & the best flatbread pizzas in Boise!!! They are working on opening up but the service is great, and the bartenders are hot!!!

We really enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower and the vegan meatball sandwich, which tasted great (and I love meat). The restaurant hasn't been open long and the bar was missing a few items like bitters. They will get past this and I believe you will like the atmosphere and the food. When we go back, and they have everything working good, I may change my rating. Came here for dinner with a bachelorette party. It was fantastic in every way. All 11 of us were COMPLETELY satisfied. I love!!!!! Thank you for making this a night we won't forget!

Beware, they don't deliver even though their website let's you order delivery. And instead of informing you immediately, like before they make your food, they wait for you to call and ask about it so you can pick it up cold or they can toss it and refund you. Get it together guys, you ruined my lunch (and by the sounds of the flustered girl on the phone, a lot of other people's). I'm excited to see more vegan options in Boise but I am super disappointed that I didn't get to try it today.

Walking by and this bright, fun spot caught or eye. This place is clean and the service was great! We had the street tacos and meatballs. YUMMY!!! The meatballs were especially great! They serve up local drafts AND wine on tap. The prices were super reasonable. Was fantastic. Added bonus was trivia night. Highly recommended!

For the Big portion, reasonable price, and food they provide, everything was excellent. My flatbread was yummy and satisfying. Still obsessed with how they baked their crust. Had a crispy cheese touch to it. I took a friend who was Vegan and I absolutely love that they have plenty of options for vegans to substitute food with. She said her dish was delicious as well. Ambiance was modern for sure but had a fun night lighting especially for dinner time.

I went here this past weekend with a group of friends. The place looks great, decor is modern and inviting and we had a good time overall. The food was absolutely delicious and the vegan and vegetarian options were fantastic. My only qualm was the speed of drink service. The place didn't seem too busy, but we waited for cocktails for over 15 minutes and they arrived after the food was halfway gone. I'd say if you're here for the food, it's amazing, but the drinks leave a bit to be desired.
