Went online to order treats for my family in Boise for Valentine’s Day. The website made it easy to order online and very user friendly. Called to pay in advance and had a pleasant interaction, with what I assumed was the bakeries owner. She was professional, friendly, and accommodating. The family raved about the cake balls. Beautifully decorated and delicious!! The only unfortunate thing about this transaction is that I was unable to taste these delicious little nuggets! When we get home to Boise I’m ordering a batch for myself :)

had an event for yelp last night and we were gifted a cake ball from vagabond. I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY! I am keto this year and don't even eat flour or sugar but this smelled so unbelievably good I had no choice but to eat it- it called to me. my flavor I received was "salted caramel". first of all- sold. it was dense and flavorful and not too sweet. the cake was perfection. the frosting on the outside was firm but not crunchy. it was simple, and again, not clawingly sweet. already told my mom this is what she needs to order for her holiday baskets because they are amazing! looking forward to trying more of their products. also it would be pretty awesome if they could make an almond flour/monkfruit cake ball- then you'll have me ordering all the time! (keto is rad!)

I'm so in love with Vagabond Bakery. I've been following their Instagram for a while and have been so in love with their incredibly detailed designs. I've been waiting for a good opportunity to order some treats and found the perfect opportunity. It was husband's birthday during this new COVID-19, Stay at Home world, so we tried to make it really special for him. My oldest "Hungry" planned a Star Wars day for him. I reached out to Emily at Vagabond about some custom cake balls and she created the most special Star Wars creations for us. Look at the detail. The R2-D2 one is absolutely amazing. To be frank, I've only tried cake balls once before and I wasn't a super fan. But I'm in love with Vagabond's cake balls. We got carrot cake, chocolate and funfetti. The carrot cake had thin slices of carrots, a perfect amount of cinnamon, nutmeg and spice and a thin layer of frosting (It tasted cream cheesey. Not sure if it actually was). The chocolate was not too sweet, but packed a wonderful wollop of chocolate. But the funfetti was our absolute favorite. It had little sprinkle surprises buried in the center. All of them were so moist. I'm not a fan of frosting, but this stuff was really nice. Not too sweet and doesn't taste fake at all. The ordering via the website was really easy. You order a dozen at a time and pick your flavor. The website limited me to one flavor, but Emily offered to give me more! So we got to try 3 flavors. It was $24 for a dozen. I was given an hour pick up time on the day of my choosing and I pulled right up to the front of the bakery (on Main st). I couldn't be happier with our purchase. All my special events will include custom cake pops now!
