I visited The Wild Root Cafe for breakfast and it was truly an outstanding experience. Tucked off of 8th Street, this gem offers a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for starting the day right. The brunch menu is a delight, with the Avocado Breakfast Toast and the Wild Skillet being my absolute favorites. The attention to detail in every dish, from the fresh, seasonal ingredients to the beautiful presentation, left me thoroughly impressed. The cafe's proximity to Boise's vibrant downtown area adds to its charm, making it an ideal spot for both locals and visitors looking for creative and delicious dining options. Whether you're craving something healthy or indulgent, The Wild Root Cafe has something to satisfy every palate. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable breakfast experience in Boise!

Had some friends driving cross country and made a pit stop to visit us here in Boise and they are vegans so we wanted to find a place they could enjoy a meal out. This place wasn’t on the vegan app they had but they had options and were accommodating . While I am not vegan, they found the meal delicious and I had (brunch menu) the eggs platter with steak (I know I know) a but it was absolutely delicious. I noticed they also did an espresso martini and OMG. Idk if it was the touch of bee pollen but it was one of the best I’ve had (Honolulu was the bar set). Overall a wonderful establishment. I’ll admit it was a little pricey but for the quality and portion in addition to the accommodation - top notch. Definitely recommend for those with vegetarian/vegan friends or relatives to have a meal out without sacrifices for anyone’s dietary needs/preferences. Will be back again and again.Vegetarian options: Can sub or explain your needs/preferencesDietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian as well as food for omnivores

The food was wonderful, the service as well. It was a nice treat for my sister and I. I can't afford to go there too often, but I recommend this place highly.Dietary restrictions: I easily found a few gluten free options.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem at all using my power wheelchair here. I did not use the restroom, so I can't comment on that.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Me and some friends stumbled upon Wild Root and were very impressed. Service was great. Vibe was right. And the FRENCH DIP! I could eat it every day for the rest of my life. I think my friends would agree as well. The staff here is very genuine and I had a great experience here . Highly recommend!

I've never had a bad meal here. Their ahi salad is phenomenal, but not quite as excellent as their ahi tacos! The staff are friendly and attentive. The overall vibe is wonderful. They also happen to serve what I believe is the best cocktail in Boise, the Queen Bee. Unbelievably fantastic.

Pleasantly surprised by the good food. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it turned out. Not many option for brunch, thought there would be more salads. But what we did have was amazing taste and good size. Little expensive, but normal for 8th Street.

Good for breakfast & lunch. Keto bowl and avocado toast were both very good. Friendly service. Price was as to be expected. We would definitely come back.

This place was AMAZING. I went with myself and 2 others and we all got different dishes and split them. All 3 dishes were phenomenal. The service was awesome as well. Super casual vibe not too fancy but definitely up there.

One word says it all: OVERPRICEDi PAID $7 for a Pilsner beer, and after looking at the prices for the food, I choked my beer down and fled to another place! From reading other reviews about this place there seemed to be agreement on the prices, and the comments regarding the food were not overwhelming!

Delicious! Went here for a girls lunch after our originally planned restaurant was unexpectedly closed and really enjoyed it! We tried the Egg Platter (one with bacon and the other with grilled chicken) and the Wild Skillet. Everything had great flavor and was perfectly cooked.

I was a little confused. No lunch or dinner on Saturday and Sundays. Just a limited brunch menu. The food was good though and they did accommodate my plant based diet. I had a tofu scramble skillet, with a variety of vegetables, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, etc. I came on a weekend and I kind of wish I would have known it was just brunch. Not sure if the party I was with enjoyed it as much as I did. We'll try and figure out when the regular lunch or dinner menus come out during the week. Not bad. I might come back next time I'm in town.
