We came in tonight with some friends and the food is AMAZING! The staff and Louis the manager were exceptional! The best customer service! I’ve been to so many taco spots around town and this is hands down the best in town! Delicious, fresh and made to order. The flavors are awesome. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

What a 5 star experience from this relatively new place in Boise. Saw some posts on IG about this spot and decided to give it a try this weekend. Walking in very cool hip updated vibe to this place. Walking in we were immediately greeted from the super friendly worker and asked if we had any questions. After a quick glance on line we already knew what we wanted. If you have read any of my other reviews you would know that I judge any Mexican food restaurant 1st by their chips and salsa. These homemade chips and salsa were amazing! It's hard to explain how good these were unless you go try them for yourself. For lunch I had to try the El Gordo shredded beef taco. This taco is not for the faint of heart. This taco is huge a 1lb taco stuffed with tons of flavor. I added the pickled onions and jalapeños as well as this was a game changer. Although massive I left nothing on the plate. The shredded beef was so flavorful and amazing. My wife had the vampire and Korean beef taco and absolutely loved them. The other kicker not pictured was the elote corn topped with crushed flaming hot Cheetos. They also serve some sushi options as well along with Korean and Mexican bowls. We absolutely loved this place and will for sure be back.

We finally found the great fish tacos we've been looking for in Boise! Everything was fresh and delicious. The Baja Fish taco and the Vampire chicken taco were wonderful. The avocado roll was also very good. This is a MUST for anyone who wants GREAT food, AWESOME customer service, and an overall TERRIFIC dining experience.

My husband and I can't stop talking about the tacos here. We cannot decide which one is our favorite. The Baja fish taco is the perfect combination of spice, sauces, perfectly cooked fish and slaw! The vampire taco just explodes with flavor with the crunky cheesey shell...but the one that really took me by surprise was the Koren beef taco! It has pickled onions, slaw, and beef but whatever the soy horseradish tasting sauce was it tickled my pregnancy food fantasy! We definitely will be back soon!
Food was so so, the tortilla on my taco was cold, took about 20 plus minutes. Price was ok but not impressed. Get more staff to get it out quicker.

Got the ahi poke bowl. My manager and I both thought it tasted odd and would have rather gone elsewhere. Also had a sushi roll which was decent. Great service, haven't had anything else on their new menu but it looks good. Cute / lively interior.

Vampire Chicken Taco, tempura shrimp roll, fish taco, Asian beef taco, carnita and chips and salsa. Not the biggest fan of the salsa. But the other food we did get was awesome! The service was fantastic. We thought we didn't get the vampire taco, we did they just made it wrong. The manger was fantastic and made it correctly. Great atmosphere, service and wait time was quick.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with my visits to Zen Baja. The customer service is always excellent. And the food is superb. I highly recommend the Southwest Steak Bowl and street corn.
