We were on annual motorcycle trip. We were a group of nine. The bar had not really opened for the evening and the front door was locked. We could see someone inside so we called their phone number and the bar owner Chrissy answered and invited us to come in through the back door.How lucky were we! Chrissy was warm and welcoming, and funny. We had intended to stay for a few minutes, but wound up staying an hour. We will certainly return if we ever pass through Buhl, Idaho again....read full review

I always wonder how it will go walking into a SUPER small town bar like Trout's; we even considered not going in but totally had to after seeing the sign- a cowboy riding a trout! Met the owners- Chrissy & Rick, super nice couple. We enjoyed chatting with Chrissy about the funky town of Buhl & the hot springs. Actually can't wait to go back!

Hard working folks, great atmosphere, comfortable and they just make you feel at home, relaxed and you can't ask for more than that. Drop by sometime, they'll make you feel right at home.
