This was our second time eating here. It was a Sunday and we wanted to grab some breakfast after church. I had remembered this place having good bacon the first time we went so we headed that way. When we walked in there was just one couple eating and no one else to be found. We checked the website before coming and it said they were opened till 3pm but the place looked closed. We weren't sure if we needed to seat ourselves or what so my husband walked around until he found a waitress and asked. She acted like they were closed, so he asked if it was okay to sit or if we should leave. It was rather confusing. She kind of rolled her eyes and said she'd ask the cook if it was okay. She came back a second later and said yes but made it feel like we were imposing. She brought us some menus and came back about 45 seconds later to take our order- again making us feel very rushed. We quickly decided what we wanted and the food come out shortly thereafter. We both ordered omelets but they came out looking more like scrambles, just kinda thrown together. They tasted okay but the whole experience left us disappointed. And when we got the check, it seemed about $5 more than it should've been but there was no way to tell because all that was written on the back of the tag was a total. There was no price breakdown. Doubt we'll go back now, which is sad because we like to support small business.

Food was good and reasonably priced, but the Cafe was understaffed, one woman busing and serving food. Waited an hour for breakfast.

Nice old school Cafe right at the airport, some good ol' boys pop in for breakfast, fair portions sizes, open atmosphere, outdoor seating available. Polite staff. Is surprisingly quiet.

BLT was good, salad could have been fresher. My big A pancake had raw batter in the middle part (under cooked) but enjoyed it. The staff were really GREAT nice people! Very cool viewing airport ops out the window whilst shoving the groceries down my neck! Thanks! We'll be back soon!

We’ve been coming to this little café for years now, and absolutely love it! There’s nothing pretentious, they spend their money on quality ingredients for the food, not on fancy table cloths or expensive decorations. I go there to have a nice meal, not to sit at a Fancy table. The girls who run it are great! A while back, the city in its nonstop Effort to bend over backwards for one particular very large business on the airport was threatening to close the diner. (The big business wants that land to expand and it’s obvious what’s going on) But the community rallied to the cafés side and it was great!! Caldwell, don’t screw this up. Let these gals keep doing what their grandma started over 40 years ago! The business which has overpowered so much of the aviation operations at Caldwell already does not need to destroy this too. Hang in there ladies!! We all love you and your cooking.

Strawberry pancakes was tasty, but a bit undercooked in the middle. BLT was good. Fun to watch the planes and helicopters.

Believe all the reviews you read about poor service, bad food etc. I have never in my life refused to pay for any food; usually just didn't eat it; paid and left or painfully worked my way through it. Not this time. I was there about 1/2 hour after they opened. Coffee was on the cool side; had to ask wait person a couple of times for cream (by the way they weren't busy). My toasted English Muffin had a rancid smell like they hadn't cleaned the toasting unit since the day it was purchased; my eggs were rubbery and cold. My husband's food was cold; they reheated it in the microwave and that didn't help; still tasted bad. I have been willing to overlook a lot since COVID and the issues restaurants have had to survive but this is way beyond that. The salt & pepper shakers and sugar container were grimy; the whole place looked like it needed cleaning. Don't eat there. It has gotten too expensive to eat out to waste your money and time on bad food, and risk getting sick!!!

You drive up and you can't even tell if they are open or not. No sign on the road. Open sign is not lit up. There is very limited seating inside and it is cramped. The coffee was gross, only sugar and sweet and low. My husband's cup looked like it hadn't been washed. We ordered our food and waited 45 minutes for it to come out! We were about to leave but then the food came out as we were getting ready to leave. The only good thing on our plates was my husband's bacon. The toast was burnt and dry with no butter on it at all. My chicken fried steak was from frozen and way over cooked. With the powdered gravy on top it tasted like sawdust. The eggs smelled weird like they were cooked in a dirty pan. I didn't even touch them.

Been going there for years. This morning, I took my Best Friend and his wife since she's never been there. Sat next to the bay window looking out towards the air strip watching the Planes and Helicopters. As with everyone ive brought, she enjoyed it, and thought that food was Good and Price even better for what she ordered! O and they updated their menu, so here are some pic's ?
