The atmosphere was ok. As we approached the building there was concern lol.. it didn't look like it was a Mexican restaurant..unless your in Mexico...but then its authentic right!? It has to be good! ..seat yourself the nice 9 year old boy wearing headphones said. We did and pushed two tables together. The server was nice. Attentive. They are probably short staffed like everyone because it took awhile to get water and menus. The chips and salsa..eh...needs some work. The salsa was like marinara sauce. We had a party of 6 and most enjoyed their food. Two had the seafood chimichanga that were happy. The shrimp taco was excellent..but the initial plate served was a cheese enchilada that looked like it came from a freezer. Wasn't hot and didn't look appetizing. Margaritas eh..it just didn't live up close to the 4.6 rating it had. I wanted to give it 4 but there's far better in the valley in 10 minutes every direction.

Yummy food with authentic style. It's quant, friendly and small.Parking: Street parking and a parking area behind the restaurant off of Kimball via a one way alley next to the restaurant.
The sign says "Best Mexican Food in the Valley!" And I agree.

People were really nice. I like spiciness and definitely wasn't there in the salsa(very bland). I was kind of surprised that they charged for chips and salsa. I got a chili relleno and all beans no rice. The beans were my favorite thing of everything. Definitely really tasty beans. I really want to give him another try but next time I'll have them load everything up with jalapenos lol.

This is the proverbial hidden gem. The older building looks dark from the street, but hidden inside is delicious Mexican food. I had the Chili Colorado, and it was amazing. I also got a taste of a dessert enchilada that was very tasty... lightly sweet and something that I would have never thought of trying.

Food is amazing and authentic.Had the Burrito grande? (I think it was called), came with some free warm tortilla chips. Both were just wow. Ask for the hot sauces, there's 3 and I used the hot green creme and the regular hot sauce along.Price is very reasonable and food is great so I'm not sure why it's always empty with no wait.Also they have a tendency to close early randomly? I've gone there 1-2h before their posted explanation. Several occasions and arrived to a locked door with no explanation.
