I hate to do this because I want there to be a ramen bowl place in cda, but alas, like so many of our "exotic" options for food here, there is so much to be desired. To be sure, a restaurant like this could not exist in a city were options like this are numerous. The sampling of competition, were expectations would be on par with standard, would immediately crush a place like this with one star reviews into oblivion. Why? Quite simply because the food, service, and atmosphere all have zero to offer. But like a ugly bar floozy at a small town watering hole, the overly easy to please will still come to drink their fill.Bottow line is, sullen faces, sketchy meat, stained upholstery, high prices, bland broth, tasteless ramen.

Cool vibe and great service. The ramen was excellent. We tried 3: veggie, spicy, and spicy beef. There was a lot of food, nice presentation, and very flavorful broth in each bowl. Beware- increasing the spice level of the spicy ramen makes it really, really hot.

Would give it a 4.5, broth is actually good. Gyoza was superb as well, my only complaint is the “ramen” noodles is pretty much the packs of top ramen you get at the store but overall very very happy and will come back again without hesitation.

We bought a bowl wirh extra meat- 2 pieces came in it for $2. It reminded me of the deli meat you get at Safeway. This cannot be considered ramen, especially with unflavored broth.Seems like a chain with their pre-packaged utensils...ick

The food was dissapointing. the ramen bowl I ate was sub-par as a whole. The customer service was acceptable but the ambiance felt uncomfortable because of an angry man at the register glaring at me as I ate my food.

I Door Dashed from here so I am unsure what the dine in experience is. But if it's anything like the Door Dash experience I bet it's incredible! Back story, I have lived in So Cal on and off for 14 years. Born and raised here but spent all my 20's there and then again 35-40's. So I frequent a lot of Asian restaurants and am very picky. This place not only has the best ramen I have had here, but also rivals most in So Cal. Also their Thai tea is next level! Most places make it so sweet. This was the best we have had! So glad this place is here, it'll be our go to. Also their packaging for Door Dash was the best! I have never seen anything like it, from the well packaged bowls where the veggies are out of the water so it remains fresh, to the packaging of utensils and Thai tea. Out of this world! Can't recommend this place enough!

We've been in a serious Ramen slump since we moved to the great Inland NW, four years ago. We'd heard of Hokkaido, but some friends told us it wasn't good. So we stayed away. Different strokes for different folks. It's Ramen weather right now, and I checked Yelp to find that it had a four star rating. So I convinced my wife to go. The flavor would not stop. Noodles were plentiful, veggies were fresh and meat and egg were great. I had the Spicy Tantanmen and my wife had the Miso. It was awesome on both accounts. My wife's only complaint was that it had too much salt, but not so bad that she didn't enjoy it. In fact she said she can't wait to come back. I won't say it's the best ramen house I've ever been to because I love the ones decorated in bamboo and have free kimchi at every table or on the counter. But for sure, we will keep coming back to Hokkaido! It's a great price when compared with other ramen houses. Service is very good as well. The gentlemen at the counter was very detailed and patient when explaining how their taro tea was made. So come for the Ramen, come for the Boba, but don't come late for lunch: They close at 2:30. But don't worry, they open again for dinner. Man I'm happy we decided to eat here!

Rude service, they make you feel unwelcome, sorry to bother you guys. ,, $16+ tax for a small portion of "ok" food... first and last time visiting this place, , , I recommend try another noodle ramen place in the area, there are a handfull in the area with friendly service, better quality and portions for the price...
