Was pretty good. Calamari was a little chewy, and a few of my onion rings were pretty cold, but everything else was great. Our server was very nice (i think her name was bri)Cool decor inside and comfortable seating

I recently visited Cricket Oyster Bar in Coeur d'Alene after a long day at work, craving some oysters despite not being by the sea. Surprisingly, their oysters impressed me. The server was fantastic, guiding me through their menu. I opted for the raw oysters with Ponzi sauce, which were not only affordable but also delicious, accompanied by crackers. For a bit extra, I indulged in the clam chowder and french fries. The clam chowder was unexpectedly good. The seating is spacious, and despite being busy, the service was on point. Overall, I can't complain about my oyster experience at Cricket. Ambiance overall cozy and lots of tvs to watch sports.

Visiting from out of town, just wanted a quick bite to eat and we were not disappointed! We were a little nervous how our experience would be after reading some of the reviews, but we enjoyed every aspect! Our waitress, Heidi, was great! She was very friendly, efficient and attentive (our son just loved her and she was great interacting with him!) The food and drinks came out quick - the burger was bigger than I expected and the fries were the best! My fiancé says "drinks were stout at a great price". Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back whenever we visit! Highly recommend

First I would like to point out that we don’t go out much , but when we do we really appreciate good service and a good meal we received both last weekend! I would like to let you know about Bri and what get service we received from the time we came in and ordered drinks she had our appetizers out and back checking in more drinks:) she really did make our meal! We laughed joked and than she brought a birthday menu of drinks for our friend and made it even better! We left dinner but returned later that evening after the infinity pool soak just to see BRI again! She greeted us again with a smile and amazing rounds of shots and The TOILET bowl! We brought everyone from the resort swim bus so she had her hands full with robe wearing customers. Thank you Bri for making our non adulting evening away great!

Absolutely terrible experience. We arrived through the handicap door and were very sternly told loudly GO TO THE FRONT not a hello not a welcome just go to the front. When we arrived at the front we waited a good 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge our existence and once again not a hello welcome nothing except how many. I heard this place had pretty much turned into a dive bar but the service level is below a dive bar. Waited another good 15 minutes to order and after we initially place our food order we wanted to get some oysters appetizer while I was trying to do that our waitress said hold on I'll be right back. Needless to say she disappeared and did not come back. She eventually came back with one of the drink orders I asked if we ordered our appetizer now it would probably come out with desert and she just said yea it would arrive after all our food. So they do not seem to understand what "appetizer" means. Still waiting for food and thinking we should have just bailed when we first questioned whether this was going to get worse. It got worse. Ordered nachos with beef and no jalapeño's and they came out chicken and loaded with Jalapeños and cold. One of us ordered the fajitas and they came out not very hot as well. All in all one of the worst. I would not recommend and will not return. I really just do not understand what ever happen to people and restaurants taking pride in their service and products. It's all very sad and it got worse. They tried charging for both nachos. Incredible

SERVICE we had a great, attentive waitress... both visits. FOOD we were here in a Saturday nights twice to watch the nfl playoff game & Gonzaga basketball games; which should be the time to have the best cooks..... the pizza was barely warm when brought out ... both visits .... we won't order it again. The potato skins had little potato and they were burnt. We didn't eat them all of the either. We ordered shrimp cocktail both visits and were told they were out of shrimp. We probably won't be back

If your looking for a local restaurant that has been around for years this is your place. They are always packed! Nestled in the heart of our town for years, this restaurant isn't just a dining spot; it's a local legend, a cornerstone of our community's culinary landscape. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and comfortable familiarity. The wooden tables, each with its own set of unique nicks and scratches, speak of the countless families and friends who have gathered around them, sharing meals and making memories. The soft, ambient lighting adds to the cozy atmosphere, making you feel like you're dining in the comfort of your own home. We have spent many times here. My homecoming party, my nieces 21st birthday and just good times laughing and enjoying ourselves.

The food was pretty good but we went there for oysters and they were waiting for a shipment. Did get some pan fried oysters tho. They were surprisingly spicy. Did not especially like it. The other food was good. The clams and garlic bread were very good. The place needs some cleaning. The cloth chairs were not very clean but it would be hard to take care of cloth chairs. Need some new onesFor some reason, I looked up at the lights high in the ceiling. They were very dusty and one had a giant spider web. Thought it was still Halloween. The waitress was all by herself. We had a party of 11. As the place filled up, we sat while people came in after us, ate, and left. I know it was because we were a big party, but the wait time was ridiculous. The waitress did try for being all alone. Place was very understaffed. If I had a choice, I would go somewhere else. The owner has been saying rude things to anyone who criticizes. To me, that is a very bad look for an owner. ?

We waited for 45 minutes without anyone coming to take our orders. The waiter kept avoiding looking at our table to prevent us from calling her over. It was unpleasant, and we ended up leaving without having dinner as we waited for two hours. Although the atmosphere was lively and the drinks were okay, I'd say it's better to save your money and go elsewhere due to the extreme understaffing issue.

Their pizza is great, but that's about it. They changed their menu and it sucks now. Staff isn't very kind, but they get the job done. It definitely has a "dirty" feel in there, but it's an alright place to get a drink and pizza.

Great place for food and fun. I love coming to watch football and sit by the fire. During the summer they have a great patio to experience downtown Coeur D Alene.

Crickets is usually my go-to restaurant in CDA. So I brought two other families there with me a week before Christmas. Unfortunately they did not have their usual "amazing-ness". My reservation was forgotten and my friend found hair (X2) in her fish taco! They didn't charge her. But it was her first time at Crickets and after that I'm afraid she will never want to go back.
