I haven't been to zips in many years and I was raised in Spokane, I thought they had the best double cheeseburgers ever and the tartar sauce to go with a fries, not tonight it didn't happen.. first of all the people behind the counter should be presentable with clean clothes not loose fitting clothes that fall down and no teeth, no judgment on dental work here but I'm watching them cook our food and no one in the kitchen look like they knew what they were doing ? The fries were so salty and not hot and the double cheeseburgers did not taste the same they were mediocre and the tartar sauce had no taste and it sucked. I have nothing good to say about it.

Zips has been my go too since going to college at NIC.
Cheese burger was great. One of my friends got fries they were tasty also. Very affordable. I definitely would go back again. Next time I visit Coeur d' Alene I will definitely visit.

Stopped here on the way to Montana per coworkers recommendation for the tartar sauce. Once got the spicy chicken and the other time got one of the hamburgers. For a drive in burger place this was great. Both times the people there were really friendly, my food was good, no real complaints. Was it all perfect? No this is a drive in burger place. I will say the tartar sauce is basically the best tartar sauce you will ever be able find find, holy smokes its delicious. Next time I'm just ordering a bucket of fries and the tartar sauce . If your here and you reasonably like tartar sauce you absolutely have to try it.

The employees were friendly and helpful!We ordered two kids meals that came with a free cone and 3 regular menu items. The cost was one you would expect of a fast food joint and they made everything quickly and to order.I would highly recommend going here if you’re in the area!
