Bacquet's restaurant is wonderful. Wonderful food, wonderful staff, big portions, and a great place to dine. It is our go to place and we eat there about once a week. It is an exceptional place. We consider it the beast place to eat in Eagle and the Boise area.

Eh, I’m not sure why Bacquets get so much praise. went for a nice lunch, and to be completely honest it was a fairly bland experience. For starters the bread was a bit hard, the French onion soup lacked flavor, and then the wagyu beef stroganoff was all mushroom flavor with not much else to grab onto. The beer was expensive. And just overall not the greatest European experience I’ve had in Boise.

I'm actually ashamed that I haven't written a positive review before now. Franck and Michelle are tremendous people and their food/experience is phenomenal. They have held private events for my company and provided memorable personal experiences for key milestones in my life/marriage. Their food is always on point and their personnel are tenured....well-versed in providing a personal, luxury experience. Their wine selection is always unique, but don't overlook their beer selections. It's always one of my top recommendations!

There are so many beautiful things I could say about Bacquet’s. The cuisine is fresh, presentation lovely, unique menu, generous portions, authentic French at its finest and just YUMMY and fun! Location, staff, entertainment, fine wines, and beyond everything the owners chef Franck and his lovely wife, Michele are extremely welcoming and real.

This was a wonderful dining experience. I had the coulette steak with potatoes, and they were so good I nearly made myself sick eating that last potato smothered in steak sauce. We had just enough room for the creme brulee, which was delicious.Striker was our server, and even though he mentioned he was new, he did a great job. He was very attentive throughout the night.I would definitely come again!

As always, an absolutely divine experience with courteous, professional, and conscientious staff. They are immensely personable and make you feel at home. The food is over the top excellent and each dish is presented elegantly and the flavor compares to no other. Tonight we enjoyed the escargot, seafood flatbread, and veal piccata. Each dish was exploding with flavor!!! We finished our evening with a lovers cake… Complete with coffee and hazelnut… Wow!Beyond the food we thoroughly enjoy the relaxed and romantic atmosphere and the attentiveness of not only the staff, but the chefs wife, Michelle… You feel like you are dining in their own home. Thank you for always welcoming us!!!

I’d like to start out this review by saying, if I could give more than five stars, I would. Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in the Treasure Valley, and honestly the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in the last 10 years. The staff is extremely friendly, from the servers to the owners. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, the decor is amazing and really shows a personal touch to the restaurant. We dined on a Thursday evening and had the company of some excellent live music. As for the food, one word: Stellar. We started with the escargot along with the marrow and caviar. The marrow and caviar were stellar. The Trout caviar was not overpowering and had the right flavor matched with the marrow. The escargot is a must. I’ve had escargot in Paris and Chamonix, but the best escargot so far seems to be right here. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. For our main courses we had the Veal Chop and Confit de Canard. With the duck, the honey reduction paired with the fresh blueberries made for the best duck confit I’ve had. The meat was tender and perfect. For the veal chop, an excellent cut with delicious black truffle cream sauce. Both dishes had fresh vegetables which tasted great. For dessert we went with the bread pudding, which was delicious.Without a doubt I will be returning here, like I said, this is by far the best restaurant I’ve been to in the Treasure Valley. Pair that with the best service I’ve had, and this is my new favorite spot to go.

I visited Bacquets on a Thursday evening with a reservation.During this visit, I got the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant. We arrived just before our time, waited for a table to be prepared and everything was going well - ordered appetizers, dinner and picked out a bottle of wine. We didn't get bread with our appetizers until we reminded our waiter. But once our entrees came out, we were checked on within a few minutes of receiving them and then ignored for over 30 minutes. We tried to make contact, but our waiter and the other staff almost seemed like they were actively avoiding us. We saw tables all around us getting service by our waiter and others. It was busy and they were a bit understaffed, but there was no interaction with us after that first check-in from the entrees. Once our waiter finally came by, no apologies or anything - it was almost like he totally forgot we had been ignored. It really soured the night, and made our visit really upsetting. We had visited previously about a year ago, we got stellar service, but that was not what occurred this Thursday night. In total, we were at the restaurant for almost 2 hours, with most of that time just waiting for service. It is really unfortunate because the food was wonderful, but because of the total lack of service, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
