I've never really had a bad experience here. I've eaten at the Eagle and Boise locations countless times. It can get a bit loud, however.Vegetarian options: I like the blackbean and sweet potato chimichanga or the Buda bowl.
Delicious salmon sandwich and server was very busy, but friendly and didn't keep us waiting!

Usually The Bardenay is a dependably great place to eat, my family and I have been many times in the last decade. But I don’t think I’ll be back. The last 3 visits I left thinking, “they must be having an off day”. After a certain point I’m not willing to waste money or give the benefit of doubt. Limp salads on warm plates and bowls, more fat and gristle on the pork chop than meat, and warm beer or drinks that never come.The food and services were usually good so I compromised for the loud atmosphere. I’ll especially miss the patio in the summer.

Very loud. Service average. Food horrible, clams had too much grit and broken shells, Caesar salads were on warm plates (pet peeve of mine), dressing watery or the lettuce not dried after rinsing. Beef medallion mushroom pasta tasted like the soap was not rinsed off. Both wife and I tasted it. Beers were served in warm not iced glasses. Overall will not be back. They only reimbursed the main course. Did not stay for dessert.
Always a great time. If I were to nitpick it would be that often times it is too loud. Food is good, I like the Tenderloin Mushroom pasta and the Bardenay dip. The only downside is that as amazing as their Fish and Chips are, there were three pieces that were the size of a half dollar or so, but it seems to depend on the batch.

We opened the double doors to this restaurant and walked into an expansive, lovely restaurant! I had a warm salmon sandwich, which was huge! Sweet potato fries were a bit overcooked, unfortunately. Great, attentive wait staff, and our waiter split our bill x3 guests. Thanks ? , we'll be back.
