“This place is a gem of a find. Had wine and meat/cheese board. Beautiful presentation and great wine. Great selection of localish and international wines. Vibe was relaxing with a nice fire. Servers were friendly and gave us space. They were out of a few things but are in transition and offered other options including gluten free bread. “I wanted to surprise my wife with donuts this morning so I snuck out early and went to My Donuts which used to be a DK Donuts. The lady at the counter was polite and friendly, she helped me pick my six. It came to $9.40 for a half dozen. I saw another review a few years ago that had $9 for a whole dozen, but I can't fault them for the price increase. It just goes to show the failing bidinflation economy. The Donuts were light and fluffy and they went well with our morning fix of magic bean juice. My wife was pleased. Thank you nice Donut lady.“

“As I was headed to work this morning, I stop on my daily coffee run and today it ended up being this Starbucks. After I ordered my drink, I reached for my purse when I realized it wasn't there! So I told the barista who took my order to hold a moment, because i wasn't sure if I could pay... I left my purse at home!! THOMAS!!! He told me my coffee was in him today, and that we all got days. I told him to cancel my order and he gave it to me still!! I haven't felt so understood in a moment of frantic right before work! He saved my day!!“
“Best donuts you'll ever have and why I give 5 stars. Service is always abysmal but I don't care because they're that good. There is always at least three people working, yet only 1 helping customers - usually one wiping counters and one wandering around. I don't get it. Every. Time. So, be prepared to have a little wait if there's a line and to pay more than you'd expect. The coffee they serve is from Form & Function and is also fab! We usually pop in about once a month with the kids, order 3 or 4, cut them into quarters and chill on one of the big couches for a fam treat on the weekend. Fan fave is the hot mess, churoish (I think that's the name, it's a "twist" style with cinnamon sugar, and the maple bar.“

“I can't believe I haven't left a review before about Perks of Life. It is such a fabulous coffee shop and eatery. Comfortable, welcoming, delicious food, great coffee, efficient and friendly service. It looks family owned or run. We have always had the nicest people serving us and other people in the cafe - it's just a friendly, wonderful place. Lots of gluten-free pastries - which are amazing.
