We love trying new places and recently found this little gem in Eagle. It's tucked away in a strip mall and you have to kind of wind your way through a parking lot to find it, but you will be glad you did! The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the BLAT and it was amazing! By the way the menu shown here in Yelp is pointing to the former Grit menu and is nothing like the current menu under the new management. Yelp needs to fix that faux pas. The website for current ownership and new menu is www.offthegrit360.com. My hubby got the crispy chicken sandwich and he ate the whole thing. We joked about that as he normally only eats half at a restaurant then brings the other half home. This meant he REALLY loved his meal! Our friends ordered the Idaho cheesesteak sandwich and very much enjoyed it. I tried the house Mack and Jack African Amber ale and loved it! They do have a nice selection of craft beers and if you like dark beers, you must try that one! The prices were reasonable and we will definitely be back!

Really sad and disappointed with the reopen and change of GRIT ownership. This used to be our go to place near home. They no longer have the great extensive menu they use to. It's a shame everything we liked they took off the menu. Quality/meat of the burgers is not like as it was before. Will not be returning again.

This is our new favorite burger place. Laura our server was very sweet. The remodel is super nice. Love having this restaurant so close to us. I forgot to take a before picture but here's my leftovers. The burger was so big I could not eat all of it. If you are a light eater I would recommend sharing a burger with your friend.

As local eagle residents, I was a little worried as to whether the food and service would be as good. I CSM literally say that both were better! Pizza and salads were amazing as was the pita bread. Service was more than great

Good local find for lunch - we were there on a Friday and wasn't crowded at all. Food and service were excellent! Their clam chowder is really good! Sometimes a bit hesitant to write really good reviews as then a fav spot can become too crowded but on the other hand, promoting local businesses is so important for their revenue!

I went in to dine for my first time today, and had a wonderful experience. I originally went in because I saw other users sharing photos on here of their Nashville Hot Chicken; but found that the menu didn’t have it available. When asked about it, that’s when I heard the story of the restaurant: owner fell on some hard times, decides to sell the place, and kitchen staff walks out and takes all recipes of the old menu with them. The new owners tried to get in contact with precious staff that had the recipes, but was met with silence or resistance. While I wasn’t able to get what I came in for: the whole menu sounded so appealing; I had a hard time deciding between three sandwiches that I wanted to try. I ended up getting the Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, after our wonderful server recommended it.After starting off with some Chicken Taquitos, which had excellent flavor and texture, I tried the fries first: which were seasoned well, and had a nice crispy outside, and fluffy inside. They were hands down some of the best fries I’ve had recently. Then I moved onto the sandwich: which was incredible. The chicken patty was breaded and seasoned evenly and crispy, the bacon was additionally crispy and had a great flavor. The ranch sauce on it was a good accompaniment to the sandwich, and tasted homemade. My only regret was not eating the sandwich before my fries; because my bottom bun got soggy from me waiting until my fries were devoured before I decided to take my first bite. That’s my own fault though, so no complaints.Besides the food: the restaurant has a great atmosphere; and feels both modern yet rustic. If you haven’t had Greek coffee yet, I recommend trying it. I got their Frappe, which has greek coffee in it, and the coffee used was so flavorful that it didn’t need any additional mix ins like you’d expect to have in a frappe if you went to Starbucks.I plan on returning back to Grit to try more menu items, and to get my fix on that Greek coffee. I hope more people check out this wonderful place.

First experience. Great. Just wanted some good burgers fir takeout. Burgers this time were thin. Dry. Fries were cold and tasted stale. They said new ownership. Same price burgers but poor quality. Guessing it's not Porterhouse affiliated any longer

Grit in Eagle has reopened under new management. We went a couple of days ago and had a wonderful lunch. Great food and super-nice service.

We have been waiting for this place to reopen for some time and were excited today to discover they had reopened. What a shock to find out the menu has been completely changed to resemble Denny's... Something bad has happened to this place, not sure what, new management? Owner? Chef? Who knows... what was worse is that the now boring bland Denny's food wasn't very good either. My wife had the BLT and it looked like it had been assembled by a teenager late for school, and the burrito I had just didn't taste right at all. The staff was friendly and the service was good, we can only pray that they figure it out quickly or this place won't lack a year. So sad...
