We came for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was beautiful and wonderful wait staff. The quality of the of the filet and the scallops were sub par. It took a very long time to get our check and it wasn’t busy that evening. We won’t be back unfortunately.

It was are first time at the restaurant and didn't know what to expect. Some of the staff had called in sick and was very short staffed. However the staff that was there went above and beyond to make it all happen and it was my favorite dinner I have had in quite some time. 10/10 highly recommend!

Took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it! Our server, Aaron, was amazing and kind. He was willing to take pictures for us, made sure we had everything we wanted throughout our time there and let us sit and talk for hours. I would highly recommend afternoon tea and will definitely come back.

Last night was the first time that my husband and I dined at Roghani's. It was a very nice experience. Both the service and the food were great! The live entertainment from singer Adam Gottseman, was a positive addition to a beautiful evening. We are looking forward to coming again!

The service and food were excellent. The only thing that would keep us from going back soon is the price. Prices are increasing everywhere, so I understand but our pocketbook only allows for so much luxury.

Great food. Barely adequate service. Live music. All contributes to making dinner a bit of a wonderful event. For foodies, this is one of the few restaurants in Boise that are worth a visit. All aspects of the food were excellent: selection, quality, preparation, presentation. All outstanding. Soups and salad are excellent. Mains delicious. Didn't try dessert. Confident that you can try anything on the menu, and it will be better than expected. As has been noted by other Yelpers, service is probably not up to par. Still, Roghani's is not that expensive, and the service wasn't that off. So, still leaving at 5 stars. My recommendation: remember, you are there to have a great night. Tables are pretty close, so don't expect an intimate ding experience. But, also not very loud. Nice. They have a live singer on Friday's and Saturday's. An old time crooner in the Frank Sinatra style. Definitely adds to the experience and isn't a distraction. If you are looking for a special night, definitely worth considering.

Not impressed. First, the seating was not great. We were placed right by the kitchen door. We asked for a different seat. We were told all the tables were reserved (not true as there were still over 10 tables empty throughout our meal and when we left). The swinging door was about 2 feet from my husband and a constant noise from the kitchen not the mention the cold draft every few minutes from it opening. The escargot was substandard and over cooked and lack flavor. The waitress (when asked if we wanted soup when we ordered our entree) was $14 extra (she did not tell us the price increase). The soup was just ok..lacked onions and was salty. The entree (chicken marsala and pesto linguini) was bland…the chicken was dry. The mushroom risotto was good though. The price was $140. Not worth it.We were here a few years ago several times and the service was exceptional, the food packed with flavor, and the presentation and attention to detail was second to none. Won’t be back.

Went to Roghanis on a whim. Have driven past it hundreds of times. The food and the service was great. The atmosphere is definitely old school French Continental. But no pretentiousness. Our waiter Gilles is from Paris and was very funny and helpful. He didn't rush us and didn't interrupt us unnecessarily. The lounge singer Adam sang the classic "standards" and was just the right volume. All four in our party agreed that the food was way above the average local restaurants in town. The wine braised short ribs and the rack of lamb were especially delicious. Don't be afraid to dress up a little and treat you and your SO to a nice night out.

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and found Roghani's to be a good choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and service. We also enjoyed the musician who had good selections and just the right volume.

Roghani's is the way a nice meal should be. Attentive, informed service. Tasty, well prepared, well presented food. And an atmosphere that makes the night a little bit of an event.

My wife and I were, for the very first time ever, very disappointed with our dinner here. We didn't not discover until after were were seated that the Valentine's evening dinner was a prix fixe menu that was incredibly limited to choices that were not to our liking. This information about the limited menu was not made known to us when we made our reservation through open table, nor from reminders from the restaurant about our upcoming reservation during the previous weeks. Had it been, we would have made another choice for our Valentine's day dinner elsewhere. Furthermore, the price per person was ridiculously high at $150 per person, causing our final bill to be nearly $400 with wine and a tip. This was incredibly poor value for what we were limited to from the menu which was only two choices per course. This felt like a bait and switch to us and left us disappointed, frustrated and a bit angry. The service was good, the ambience was nice with a live singer, but there was a very loud large table of rude folks who somehow thought it was a good idea to bring an infant child with them who were very disruptive. All in all, not a very nice experience.

Went to Wed afternoon tea. Quiche tastes lukewarm it had been sitting for a while. Dessert tower was missing clotted cream or Devonshire cream for scones, sandwiches were so small it was comical even for teatime. Rest of the desserts were not fresh. Overall I wouldn't go again unless they improved the quality
