La Costa is the best Mexican food in Gem County, Idaho. The atmosphere is nice. The food is great. Their Carne Asada and Chili Colorado are the best!Kid-friendliness: This is a very kid friendly restaurant.There is a kids menu, and coloring materials to keep the kids happy.
The food is better than most Mexican food in Idaho and Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas. The service is excellent with fresh chips, salsa and beans with the menus as a free appetizer. The ambiance is very nice with booth seating. I have eaten Mexican food that was better in ambiance that was better. But I have eaten a lot more that is below this establishment in every way. It's above average. Enjoy.

La Costa just keeps getting better and better. Very nice, hard working family (From Mexico) The manager always stops by our table to say hello. I'm on a low carb diet and they're happy to give me a salad in place of rice and beans. I love their chili verde. No complaints. Forgot to mention it's clean! Ask to check out their new event room. Almost finished, you'll think you just got off the plane and landed in Mexico when you step in the room.
