i paid for an extra egg and asked for no mushrooms on my garden of eden and they completely forgot it. they didn't give us a bag for our food and had this smug attitude. i even tipped them and still got terrible service.

My hubby and I were doing the Vintage Road Trip and it was lunch time so we decided to try this restaurant. We weren't disappointed. It was immaculately clean and had a retro vibe going on. My hubby had a cheeseburger and fries and I had the Border and Bloom salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty. They didn't skimp on the pickled veggies in my salad and the dressing was perfect. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely the best breakfast I’ve had in awhile. Would give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Prices can’t be beat too! Highly recommend the homemade donuts to finish it off :)

Party of 2 - we ordered the halibut dinner & a side salad, and a burger & fries. After waiting quite some time for our food, a waitress stopped to tell us the halibut "blew up" on the grill, & a new one was being cooked. After a few more minutes, I went to the counter & asked if I could get the side salad now instead of with my meal. The waiter shortly appeared with it, but also with my husband's burger. Burger was cold, so we suspect it had been prepared with the 'first' halibut & had been sitting. No fries with the burger... apparently, the order-taker had not heard the fries order, as we found the charge was not on our receipt. The halibut arrived, and was an excellent dinner. Husband's burger was very average, & he won't visit again for another. The place is very cute, decorated nicely & clean.

My co-worker and I stopped by on 3/26/24 for lunch. We both ordered the Cluck-Cluck and wow what a sandwich! Very impressed with presentation and the fried chicken breast filled the bun. The sauce with the sliced pickles was divine. I also ordered an blueberry shake that was also totally amazing. I highly recommend this place and it is Fruitland's truly best kept secret.

Why Hitchcock? Why must you be so delicious? We’ve lived in the area (Payette really) and haven’t stopped by until the last month or so. Your breakfast (we’ve had the whole menu) and burgers are incredible. Don’t get me started on the shakes. 100/10. The best food within a 50 mile radius, hands down. We can only pray to the restaurant gods that you guys stay in business for many, many years to come. Thank you for your delicious food every. single. time.
Fruitland doesn't get a lot of attention but we found a nice little eatery that is worth a stop when near Payette, Ontario or Weiser. Hitchcock Station is an old gas station that's bern transformed into a hamburger joint. And more than just a burger shack. Owner Emran Chowdhury was born in Bangladesh and moved with his family at age 12 to Toronto. He was a chef in Seattle before moving to Boise and spending a stint at Alavita. He later met retired three-time NFL Pro-Bowl tackle Jordan Gross of the Carolina Panthers and together they operated a food truck Boon Farm to Fork. In January 2023, Chowdhury opened his restaurant at the old gas station, a building owned by Gross in his hometown. It's located at 402 SW 3rd St. The burger offerings looked great, but Kristy and I opted for the surf-and-turf lunch special, steak slices in a light sauce and grilled shrimp. I added a huckleberry shake. Beef comes from Van Lith Ranch in Payette, with brioche buns supplied by Big City Bakery. The burger offerings are shown in a photo. Besides the lunch special, they offer a separate dinner special. Tonight it was fish and chips. Everything was really good and the service was friendly.
