Normally, when food is associated with a gas station, I avoid it unless I'm looking to shed a couple pounds. However if you like good smoked barbecue, I would recommend this place. Brisket was a 8 out of 10, meaning it was pretty damn good. Cole slaw was good, some spicy mustard would've made it amazing. Had some of their pulled pork the other night and it was amazing. My husband stopped in and got two slider buns with a container of pulled pork. Perfect combo of smoke and texture. I'm not a huge fan of the smoked (tougher) layer that gets mixed in when shredded and there was hardly any in it. My husband said the guys working were extremely nice. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Sadly the beloved Rustic Pig is on its last legs. After the new owners took over I have tried to be positive and supportive, but today was the last day I will ever support them. Their menu prices are out dated, so I got charged with the new price which was $2 more on each of my orders. Additionally the beloved Delux breakfast bowl leaves much to desire. So much less food and they’re skimpy on the meat. The bacon Mac is sad and tastes artificial and not at all like my beloved previous owners made. With the rotation on staff so frequently it doesn’t leave me surprised. This business is not what it used to be. So it’s a hard and fast “No, Thank you. I won’t be back” from our family.

Menu is a tad confusing but our waiter helped us and was very kind and thoughtful. Food was great! Brisket Mac sandwich and pulled pork plate-great. Banana pudding was very good and the mashed sweet potatoes should be their own meal-my favorite.

Ribs are excellent. Brisket is alright, personally I've had better. The mixed pudding dessert chocolate and banana pudding with a vanilla wafer on top is awesome. Mac and cheese with bacon is yummy. A little bit pricey, but for 2 people we had at least 3 meals out of lunch. Drinks come from the fountain soda machine. Their homemade BBQ sauce is good, try them all I recommend.

To put it frankly, the servings resembled a McDonald's Happy Meal, particularly the sandwich, and considering the $20 price point, it left much to be desired. The culinary journey began on a positive note with the promising aroma of barbeque wafting through the air. Excitement turned into disappointment, however, when the dishes arrived, and the sandwich, in particular, looked more like an appetizer than a satisfying main course. The taste itself was a saving grace, showcasing the chef's skill in crafting flavorful dishes. Each bite was a symphony of savory delights, which only intensified the regret over the inadequate quantity. For the cost incurred, one would expect a more substantial meal, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. Fast service. Despite the commendable flavors, the small portion left me feeling unsatisfied and hungry, which significantly impacts the overall value for money. While I appreciate the culinary efforts, the serving size and corresponding price make it challenging to justify a return visit. Regrettably, I won't be coming back, as I believe a restaurant experience should leave patrons both pleased with the taste and comfortably full.

They tried hard and they were nice and polite but the food was okay the prices were a little high the menu is hard to understand it was okay but I don't think I'd go back again I was expecting great barbecue in Idaho and highly mediocre although the food was the best

We put in our order but was shorted an entire meal which was supposed to be made to go. When we brought the problem to the staff's attention, they proceeded to argue with us. To the point I finally told the person that took our order to go look at our order that was on the table. They provided us with the missing sandwich and 2 sides and drinks, but never credited us for the over charge on our sides, and missing deserts that came with our 3 meals that were ordered. The food was GREAT, BUT THE SERVICE WAS THE WORST!!! My suggestion to the staff, if people are ordering sides they are likely ordering meals! If you are not sure, then ASK QUESTIONS!!! DON'T ARGUE WITH CUSTOMERS, MAKING AN ORDER RIGHT IS A CHEAPER LOSS, THAN LOSING THEIR FUTURE BUSINESS, AND RECEIVING NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA!!!
