Ordered off Uber eats. Rare steak portion was tiny (1/4 the size you’d get at any other Pho place). Noodles were uncooked (texture of plastic, pretty sure it came straight from the fridge), broth was bland and cold (closer to fridge temperature than room). Tried calling numerous times and the line is disconnected. I hate to leave a bad review, but the left me no recourse.

Just got pho delivered from this place, and it's literally inedible. Broth was cold and bland, noodles are rock hard, and they barely give you any meat. The meat they do give you is slimy and disgusting. I tried to call them to get my money back, but their line rings busy incessantly. My guess is that's by design b/c they've gotten so many complaints about the quality of their food, and they don't want to deal with it anymore. This will definitely catch up with them, and I will never order from this place again. There are plenty of good options for pho in Boise, avoid this place entirely.

Placed order online. Stopped by the restaurant to pick it up, restaurant looked dirty. Ugh. Picked upthe order, came home and 1/2 of the order was missing. I called and they offered to replace the missing items next time I come in. I agreed to that and shouldn’t have, because after we stared eating the 1/2 order, it became apparent the quality of the food was subpar. The bean sprouts were mushy on the ends, the peanut sauce was liquid and in no way resembled a sauce, the pork in the fresh egg rolls was dark brown and tough, the fresh egg rolls rice paper was tough like stale bread and nowhere near soft and chewy as it should be…it was barely edible. Now I’m out over $55 (I even included a tip) with only 1/2 the order and that 1/2 was terrible. This is the second time I’ve been here, the first was not stellar but in fairness, I always give a place a second chance. Out of chances here.

We had great food and service! This place is popular and it shows. The customers love it here. Bad reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt. You can’t trust people with no empathy to the service industry.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats ?

Best pho I've EVER had. I've been looking for the best pho in the treasure valley and this mom and pop shop is it. The owner stays in store making food and helping guests all day. I will be eating here again regularly

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Nguyen, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Located conveniently right next to my home, I couldn't resist trying out their renowned pho dish, and boy, was I in for a treat! The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that I felt welcomed from the start. Despite being a first-time visitor, I immediately felt at ease in the cozy and comfortable surroundings. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the pho. As a self-proclaimed pho enthusiast, I had high expectations, and Pho Nguyen did not disappoint. I opted for their regular-sized pho, and to my delight, it turned out to be more than enough to satisfy my hunger. The tantalizing aroma of the rich broth filled the air as the steaming bowl was placed in front of me. The first spoonful was a revelation—a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on my palate. The tender slices of meat, the fresh herbs, and the perfectly cooked noodles all came together to create a symphony of taste. It was a true delight to savor each spoonful, and with every bite, I found myself appreciating the skill and passion that went into crafting this dish.In conclusion, my visit to Pho Nguyen was a memorable one. While I can only speak for the pho dish I tried, it was clear that the restaurant takes great pride in delivering a remarkable dining experience. From the inviting ambiance to the incredible flavors, everything came together seamlessly. If you're in search of an authentic and satisfying bowl of pho, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Pho Nguyen. I, for one, can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings.

Came in to the restaurant first and got our food last, even with ordering the same items as customers who came in later than us. When I finally received my pho there was hair in it.Staff took the pho off the bill and was not friendly. This was my first time trying out pho nguyen.. will not be back.Save your money & time.

Absolutely delicious. Recommend the rare beef and brisket, and ask for it spicy. Just a delight, luscious, delectable, soul-soothing pho right here in the City of Trees. Friendly service and a nice convenient location.

I recently dined at a Pho Nguyen restaurant in Boise and was thoroughly impressed. The Pho was some of the best I've had in Boise, and the portions were generous. The prices were relatively inexpensive, making it a great value for the quality of the food. This restaurant is a hidden gem, located in a small shopping center along State Street. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good Pho in Boise.

Ate there last night. Wonderful experience. Fresh rolls were great and the peanut dip was very tasty. The server was helpful and got us on the right track for level of spiciness. Food came out promptly and was steaming hot. Jasmine sticky rice helped take the edge off the spicy beef. Brought home Beef Pho and fried rice to have for lunch today. Highly recommend. Had the Pho and pork fried rice for lunch. Both were excellent.

I got the Spicy Beef Noodle and Shrimp Rolls via delivery. The Spicy Beef Noodle isn't really spicy and they don't provide any sauce but luckily I have chili paste at home. The broth is otherwise decent. The shrimp rolls were pretty good but I wish they would take the shrimp tail shells off first as its a bit difficult removing them from the rolls after they're cooked.

The best Pho I've ever had! I got the spring rolls and the rare steak pho and it was amazing! My server Faith was so awesome and so were the owners! I can't recommend this place enough.

very tasty pho. decent prices and decent portions; although the "6 piece" fried egg roll was actually 3 pieces cut in half. I left full and satisfied. the inside décor feels more open cafeteria style but service is quick and friendly. feels like a family home run business and its a good place for a flavorful night out. id put it in the top 3 pho places in Boise although the inside décor feel could be improved. but it isn't bad, just saying. I will be back when I'm craving a good bowl of pho
