My wife and I ate here about three years ago. Back then, I left, a well-deserved, one star review. We heard this restaurant was under new ownership and we decided to give it another go. Wow, what an improvement! I had the Beer Cheese Bacon Burger and my wife had the Fish & Chips. Both were very good. Did I mention the great service? We'll definitely be repeat customers. Let's start by saying that I had high hopes for this place. With that being said the food was not the best, but they were very very busy so I will take that into consideration. Fish and chips were subpar, Mushroom and swiss burger was ok. Staff and service was good. Just my opinion.

Two and a half hours to get mediocre food. I think not you should be ashamed your management you should be ashamed. You weren't even that busy if I ran my work like you are running yours people would die whoever the manager is should quit their job. You need to learn a thing or two about logistics will never return. Give me a way to contact you I have proof. Straight up video. Come at me because you're going to be sad.

We've been coming here for awhile and always loved our visits. The battered fries were always however after our visit tonight we left sad and disappointed. Tonight we expected to see an increase in prices due to inflation, but we did not expect to see a drastic decrease in the food quality and a decrease in the always efficient and friendly service. The table was not clean upon arrival. It took 20 minutes until our sever took our drink order. The battered fries were not served as listed, but instead were a greasy, limp, and soggy and def weren't battered. Barrelhouse, you are capable of doing much better. Don't give up!

Lost their liquor license so only serves warm beer and canned cocktails. "Pound" of wings was about 6 mini wings. Moral of this review, don't waste your time. You'll only be disappointed.

Service is soo slow . None of the servers pre bus, and the host is left cleaning the tables, only after the table has sat dirty for an hour . That's gross , no one wants to stare at dirty tables while they eat there dinner. Food is overpriced & only decent at that. Ordered a house salad and it was warm. Either it sat under a heat lamp while waiting for other dishes or the salad cooler is broken. One plus, the live band but not sure if that is a good enough reason to return

I am so addicted to the crispy fries at Barrelhouse. Those and the chicken tenders I had last night were perfectly cooked. Austin took excellent care of our group...what a great place to hold an event!

We really enjoyed the musical duo that was playing at the restaurant. We ordered our food expecting the quality and serving size to be the same as the last time we were at the Barrel House. We were so disappointed. the meal was half the size of our last meal we experienced there and the quality was half as good as before, but the prices are the same. I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

By far the worst food I've had in idaho. Nasty brisket sandwich, sweet fries had no flavor, salad was average, mozzarella stick were soaked in oil. Threw it all away. Waste of $53
Good was very good, we shared the jalapeno popper egg roll appetizer and it was very flavorful. I had the French dip which was very good, the fries were ok, lots of ends... My friend had the beer cheese bacon burger and he said it was very good! Portion sizes were very good, our server was very friendly and attentive.

Really wanted to like this place. Limited beer selection. Cheese sticks tasted more like grease sticks. Absolutely gross. French dip was more bread than meat and au jus was spicy (who makes spicy au jus, just wrong). They offered to make something else after they insisted several times it's not spicy. We had everyone in the party try it and it was damn sure spicy. At this point the rest of the party is almost done. They even screw up sweet potato fries. Mine were over done and flavorless...how? They managed. Salmon burger was dry. Burger tasted like a premade frozen patty with no flavor. Beer cheese burger with a super thin coat of beer cheese. Won't return.

My order was for pick up. Staff was nice food was OK but for the price, which was exorbitant, the portions were so small it was embarrassing. I ordered two tomato bisque soups that were $10. it looked like there was maybe a quarter of a cup of soup Im in each container. Two orders of finger steaks… there were four small finger steaks hardly a cup full of fries and those entrées were $18. The beet salad was good but like I said for the price very small. I will not eat here again.

5 members of staff walking around. Sunday afternoon, eight customers (we were 2) in the dining room and patio, total. We were not seated by staff. We were not provided menus or anything. We watched a couple get up from the bar after being ignored for quite some time. We left after 20 minutes of being ignored. This establishment does not want business and after this experience, they don't deserve it. Stay out of the parking lot. Plenty of high quality places around. This place sux. After reading the many 1 & 2 star reviews and the repeated promise by the owner to do better, they are not going to survive. It has been many weeks since I wrote this review and there hasn't been a "happy talk" response from the owner, as yet. They did have a "shill" (Bri A.) write a counter to my posting. Bri A. can be counted on to provide a much needed 5 star bailout review over the years. Pathetic move for a failing business.
