Great staff was super accommodating with our dogs. Weather was chilly and windy but the patio enclosure and heaters made it comfortable. Sara, Brian, and Brandi were great hosts. We will definitely be back!

I was there for lunch today and ordered the clams. Ugh. Clam meat was tiny, when I could find it, many clams had not opened, and the bowl was nothing but cooked tomatoes with a few pieces of Italian sausage. I paid $15 for (essentially) a bowl of chopped tomatoes. Really disappointing. Not my first time there but now I won’t go back.
Great neighborhood spot! I love the dog menu in the summertime. Wine list is good and the mushroom entree is delicious!

One of my favorite restaurants in Boise! The menu is creative but comforting, and the wine and local beer selection is exactly up our alley. The sliders are seriously some of the best burgers in the Treasure Valley, and the Happy Hour options can't be beat.

We had never been here before and just had the best experience! We were greeted and had the best conversation with the new owners, they are a local Boise family which we love. The pretzel was wonderful, and so were the sliders. They had a huge selection of wines, and it felt more welcoming than some of the other chain wine bars in town.We will be back!

We have had the opportunity to visit The Local several times recently and on each occasion the food as well as the staff were amazing.I wish I could list a favorite dish however I have had the pleasure of their Prime Rib dinner as well as their Prime Rib French Dip. Both were delicious, beautifully prepared and excellent meals.On a lunchtime visit I selected the “Sliders” and was awe struck…truly the most flavorsome and satisfying sliders I’ve ever had.You simply cannot go wrong with the delicious food and amazing selection of fine wines and top notch beers!

This is exactly the type of restaurant experience I have been after! A cozy inside with interesting art, a relaxing patio option when I want to sit outside, and the owners are so lovely and welcoming. Top notch hosts.I recommend trying the sliders, the sauce they make for their giant soft pretzels was rich and delish, and I had their Turkey & Brie sandwich and almost wished I hadn’t because now I want one at least once a week for always. The bread they used had the perfect crisp crust and the blackberry on it really topped it off. They’ve also got a great drink selection to wash it all down! I highly encourage you to go eat here.
