I was craving a donut like a pregnant lady pursuing a pickle fix this morning. You wouldn’t think this would be a challenge but with the endless construction on 17th, it was proving to be the holy grail quest of the decade. After following a few leads that only lead to despair, the sign for this cute shop appeared out of my carb deprived haze. Oh my goodness they did not disappoint. Staff was nice, ok selection; but $30 for a dozen (mind you it doesn’t say anywhere there is an extra charge for some doughnuts vs others) comes out to $2.50 a doughnut and honestly I stopped at Albertsons on the way home and got a better Apple Fritter for $.80 so save your money.
