Visiting Idaho falls and I’ve never had Black Bear Diner. I’ve seen a commercial for the place. Came in on Monday ( Presidents’ Day ) and had amazing service. From the host seating us, to the server taking our order and dropping off the food; to the manager checking up on us and making small talk. It all felt great and comfortable. We are visiting for about two weeks so we will def be back.

Attentive, friendly service and amazing food!The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived (Saturday evening). The atmosphere was a woodsy take on old fashioned american family sit down diners. The place was clean inside and out (including the bathrooms). Our server Hector took excellent care of us, checking in when we needed refills without being overbearing. The food was incredible.
