Best biscuits and gravy in town. Sausage patty is great, and I suggest getting the eggs soft scrambled with cheese.

On my way back from Montana, I stopped by this diner as I am always looking for them. This is my kind of place. Old school vibes, regular old school folks, and very American food. Loved it! There is a story behind this, too. This used to be a repair center for Ford Model T cars. They introduced dining for the customers who were waiting to get their car fixed.

I love the idea that they have been in Idaho falls for years, I think that’s great. I ordered biscuits and gravy, and chicken fried steak. It was beyond bland. The gravy taste like thick water, the steak was flavorless, I’m sorry to say it just wasn’t great. Maybe I came on a day where the cook wasn’t feeling it, it was just

The BEST cafe in Idaho Falls, bar none. Thankfully have kept the same atmosphere, brown diner mugs, and everything that makes you feel at home. Hopefully they don’t ever change anything because it’s just perfect.

We travel through Idaho Falls quite often and try to plan having lunch here. The chili is amazing! Great service and friendly staff. Darling little local diner. If you want really good, simple food, this is your spot. For those of you looking for a pretentious Michelin star restaurant, go on by.

This is the definition of an old school restaurant. Great food friendly service and a great time. They even make their own bread.

This place has been around since 1934, so if you're looking for that quintessential stop for the authentic diner experience, this is the place. It's still one of the best places in Idaho Falls for breakfast, but don't ignore this place for lunch and dinner. Their broasted chicken is always great. On the breakfast side, pancakes, French toast, biscuits & Gravy, or the country breakfast (their sausage patty is one of the best).

Update: This place provides unbelievable value. Yesterday somewhere else we had burgers and fries. Today at North Hi-Way we had real food, more than we could finish, and the total even with tip was cheaper. And, oh, was it good food at North Hi-Way. Everybody there is great. Teri served us well today.----------------------------------This place is a legend, and full of frequent customers. So you know it must be good. The decor is from decades past, as is the service--in that it hearkens back to a time where restaurants made you feel at home. Or, more accurately, at some relative's house where you felt totally comfortable but were still treated like a guest. The food portions are massive. We should have shared. Execution was spot-on. Reportedly the pies are made "whenever he feels like it," so call ahead if you're going for a specific flavor. Our experience says any flavor will be a winner. Miss Sherry was super-attentive and full of advice. Highly recommended.

North Highway, Café is always great. Quick service and the food is excellent. Very large serving so we normally just share a plate with me and my wife go there. We pretty much hit that once a week for breakfast on Sunday and always enjoy the experience.
