My mom and I got stuck on our cross country trip. Our car broke down… While I was working on fixing it the clerk (owner) let my mom and my dog sit in warmth inside the gas station. Not only that, he asked if we wanted water and gave us food. Refused to take money. The guy was like a savior to us. You don’t get to meet good people like this. You should give them your business any time you can. And if I ever go back through Idaho Falls I’ll stop by to do business and say hello this kind person.

Absolutely delicious! We got a vanilla bean cake with Bavarian cream and buttercream frosting for our anniversary. Told her I just wanted a simple 6 in cake and she did amazing on the decorating considering I didn’t give any direction. The cake was super moist and was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. She was also very polite and quick to respond. And not to mention she was the only one I could find that offered Bavarian cream in the immediate area.

The Yellowstone Cheverom was closed when we got there at 8pm on Monday. It had no signs displaying business hours. Their business online also didn't have any business hours posted. There was an employee in the store with doors locked standing at counter and said or did nothing as several customers including myself attempted to enter the store with the assumption it was open.

We ordered our wedding cake through Amy at The Sugar Shell. My wife met her at the East Idaho bridal fair where she had many cakes on display. She made it very easy to set up cake tastings and bridal consultations. There were many opportunities to choose between the wide variety of flavors and fillings on offer between the descriptions on the website, the bridal fair, and the tasting. During the tasting, we had a thorough discussion about the cake decoration, and she even went out of her way to order a cake stand that more closely matched our style. On the wedding day, she had great timing during setup and was in and out quickly with the delivery. The cake looked great! The sculpted flowers and succulents were very detailed. Beyond looking good, it tasted great! Our guests were raving about how delicious the cake turned out and we got so many compliments about it.

The cakes look terrific, however they don’t taste as good as they look. The owner told me that she doesn’t eat cake anymore, which is concerning for a professional baker. She needs to be taste testing what she feeds other people. My mother was very disappointed that we paid for a wedding cake that tasted terrible.
