Unfortunately the quality of food here has gone down hill, I was curious what happened so I did a little digging. The head Chef who had been working for Christina for 8 years had to resign due to brain cancer, this is so sad and I do hope they can fix the quality issues before too long. I asked if there was someplace I could donate to help and was brushed off with no answer. It's really too bad, I'll not be returning here anytime soon.

I'd give no stars if I could. Staff were so incredibly rude. When we walked in not a single person greeted us. We asked if we could sit down for 2. They said it will be a couple minutes. We waited about 8-10 minutes. A lady came in and asked if they could serve 5 they very abruptly said no. She asked if she could order Togo and he said from her only and pointed at a prepared food cabinet. We asked after about 10 minutes if we can be seated and the lady said did a hostess help you. My husband said yes she said a couple minutes and the staff was so rude. She said "then that's what it will be" and just smirked and shook her head yes. We walked out.

The patio at Cristina’s was beautiful, but not sure I’ll be back. Upon arrival, the staff was yelling and swearing at each other in the kitchen. The breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about. I ordered the omelet of the day and the bacon and toast that accompanied it were tooth-breakingly charred. The eggs were bland. Maybe it was an off day in the kitchen but I’m disappointed to have spent one of my mornings in Sun Valley here.

I do not recommend this establishment. Unfriendly and service was not what it should be. Everyone seems to have an attitude issue. Food was good although it is overpriced.

Coming from a big city, Ive never experienced prejudice at a restaurant before. The host here refused to seat us this morning, claiming there was not enough space (half the outdoor are was open and the entire inside was open). It was more awkward, so much so that even a customer piped up and recommended a place near my to help avoid embarrassing me any further. The host only apologized once my wife (who is white) walked in. Embarrassing to have such a poor experience in 2021. Food may be good but I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere.

Good food, poor service. After a 45 minute wait just to be seated, made us wait an additional 10 minutes before finally seating us at a table. After receiving food, waitress disappeared and never returned to ask about dessert or if we wanted the bill. Had to just go up front to pay and leave.Food was good, but the amount of time waisted just waiting ensures we won't return.

We used to come to Christina's a few times per month but the last few times the food just wasn't up to par. Something definitely has changed in the last month and the food just isn't anywhere close to what it used to be. We won't be returning.

The service here was so bad. We waited a full hour for our food, and when it finally arrived it was COLD. We had to ask for everything (bread, utensils, bill, credit card back) and the staff was not friendly or polite, the seating was very uncomfortable and the atmosphere while charming could not make up for the pathetic food and abysmal service. Save your money, skip it.

Disappointed twice. The first was Easter weekend brunch for three, we ordered standard eggs and frittata.. it was a bit tasteless and a bit burnt. Not impressed with the teenage service either that day. Second time they lost our reservation. Cristina seems like a kind soul and we are locals who wanted to love this place, but it's overrated. : (

The atmosphere at Cristina's is like that of a garden party. Not that I can recall ever going to a garden party, but that's neither here nor there. This is a great place! Like Idaho itself, a hidden gem amidst a bustling town full of more in-your-face options, Cristina's let's the food and service and decor do the talking. I had the cinnamon orange french toast and, even after cutting it up, it still looked amazing. And it tasted as good. Orange zest cuts through the cinnamon and the maple syrup is a cherry on top. Delicious.

Had reservations for breakfast for five people. They did not look busy inside or out. We were on time. Waited 10 minutes to be seated--no one else was waiting. No welcome--just got seated. Not rude but definitely not a friendly vibe. Ordered food as soon as waitress came. One hour from our reservation time we received our food. Totally unacceptable. Food was good but for the price it wasn't exceptional. Disappointed. I heard one other person complain about the wait time yet they seemed to have lots of people behind the counter. Probably will never come back as we went for the ambiance expecting great service and great food. I think there are better options in town.

Awesome spot, the food selection is amazing, the outdoor seating is great and our waiter was wicked cool!

We have tried numerous times to get in and it is always a long wait even though numerous tables are open. I guess they take reservations but have been very snotty been we have talked to them at the front desk.

The owner, Christina, creates a wonderful environment in her restaurant. The food is great, the espresso drinks are made traditionally and you often will see Christina herself working hard to assure quality products are the only thing that leaves her kitchen. Also, she is a wonderful conversationalist. Stay by to enjoy her laid-back personality and immaculate company.

Traveling through Sun Valley, do not miss Christina’s bakery for delicious breakfast and the valley’s best coffee and lattes — we are coffee snobs. We enjoyed the selection of fine bakery goods and the outstanding, attentive table service made it our fav.
